7 Bear Encounters That Will Stress You Out

00:12 In British Columbia, two friends brought their lovely dog on an exciting mountain bike ride
00:18 when the unimaginable happened.
00:20 Not expecting much to go wrong, both men seem to be having a great time on the trail while
00:26 their dog happily follows them around and stays right by their side.
00:30 Unfortunately, things quickly turn for the worse.
00:45 Likely terrified by the dog, the black bear refuses to get down from the tree and the
00:52 men decide to go on with their ride while they still can.

00:59 In Katmai National Park, three friends had a truly horrifying encounter with a huge grizzly
01:06 bear that took a seriously unexpected turn.
01:10 After spotting the beast from down the trail, the three friends quickly regroup in order
01:15 to hopefully grab some nice photos of it.
01:19 They immediately regret their decision after realizing that the menacing bear is now walking
01:26 right in their direction.
01:38 Out of fear for their safety, they begin to carefully walk backwards away from the beast.
01:49 Once satisfied with their distance from the animal, they simply stand there in hopes that
01:56 it will move on and walk back into the woods.
02:00 That's until the woman spots something else behind them.
02:17 Now surrounded by two man-eaters, they immediately regroup once again and wait for the beast
02:24 to hopefully leave the area.
02:27 After a few minutes, the bear up ahead finally walks back into the forest, which allows them
02:32 to safely continue on their path.

02:38 While camping in Alaska, two men from the Borail Stories YouTube channel had a sudden
02:43 visit from a huge grizzly bear that didn't quite turn out as planned.
02:49 As the beast walks out from the forest up ahead, both men stand there in utter shock
02:55 and disbelief of what they're seeing.
03:05 Unfortunately for them though, the curious animal decides to fiddle around their camp
03:11 and begins chewing on one of the men's expensive shoes.
03:28 After many frustrating minutes, the bear thankfully moves along and the men finally get their
03:33 chance to go check up on the damages.
03:49 They simply pick up the leftover pieces and go on with their day like nothing happened.

04:06 After spotting the beast on the side of the road, the residents park their cars in order
04:11 to observe the vicious animal from closer.

04:51 After spotting the animal from down the trail, two of the men, very bravely, decide to walk
04:56 towards it in hopes of scaring it off.
05:06 The bear temporarily hides in some bushes before walking right back out to engage in
05:11 an intense stare down with the men.
05:14 No violence is needed until the beast begins walking in their direction.
05:32 Thankfully not too angry about getting rocks thrown at it, the animal spares them and runs
05:38 back into the forest.

05:42 In Grand Teton, Wyoming, a peaceful hike quickly turned into a nightmare when a scary mother
05:49 bear crossed a heavily tourist-occupied area with her two little cubs.
05:55 YouTuber Thomas Boudin and his friends were having a great time on their hike and weren't
06:00 expecting much to happen at all.
06:02 All of that quickly changed after they met some tourists who claimed to have seen bears
06:07 roaming around the area.
06:15 Thankfully the nearby park rangers got alerted of the danger and immediately acted upon it
06:20 to prevent anything terrible from happening.
06:23 In hopes of capturing some interesting footage, Thomas even attempts to follow one of the
06:28 park rangers into the forest.
06:38 Eventually the mother bear and her two little cubs walk out of the woods while the terrified
06:43 tourists quickly spread out.
06:57 Luckily they didn't feel threatened by the humans and simply decided to walk on and swim
07:03 across the river.

07:16 On an average hunting day, a man is surprised to see a random black figure slowly approaching
07:22 him from a few hundred feet away.
07:25 As the animal comes closer, the man quickly realizes that it's a black bear and immediately
07:30 yells after it to stay away.
07:42 Judging by what happens next, this obviously doesn't work out too well.
07:59 After its failed charge, the beast thankfully gives up on its hope for dinner and walks
