4 Bear Encounters That Will Give You Anxiety (Part 2)

00:00 These four terrifying bear encounters will most likely prevent you from sleeping properly tonight.
00:07 Number 1. YouTuber Michael Carstensen was sure he would never return home after having an extremely
00:16 close encounter with a fearless mother grizzly bear and her two little cubs. As they walk up
00:23 from down the mountain, the thankfully present park ranger is quick to intervene and does his
00:30 absolute best to protect the tourists. "Whoa bear! Whoa bear! You guys up the trail, stay put!"
00:38 "Whoa bear!"
00:42 Having spotted an approaching group of tourists from down the trail,
00:50 he immediately yells out at them to stay away.
00:54 "Hey, hey up in the trail, stop where you're walking! Go there! Get out here! Go! Go! Whoa bear!"
01:06 The mother bear likely concluded that the humans were not a threat to her kids
01:11 and decided to run back up the mountain and into the woods.
01:16 Number 2. While casually hunting in Alaska, a group of men from the Experience YouTube channel
01:24 thought they would never see another day when they were stalked by a rather aggressive brown bear.
01:31 After spotting it near the coastline just a few hundred feet away,
01:36 one of the men immediately dropped to the ground to aim his sniper rifle at the beast.
01:43 "You better get your gun ready. Hey, Wally, at least one of you get ready.
01:49 I said at least one of you be ready." Unfortunately for them though, it decides that it wants to come
01:57 get a closer look. At this point, the hunters very obviously start to feel as though their
02:04 lives are in danger. In an attempt to scare the beast away, the armed man fires two loud warning
02:12 shots to the left of the bear, hitting the rocks on the ground each time.
02:16 Now feeling threatened, the angry animal quickly sprints up the nearby hill and now tries to get
02:35 to the men from a different angle. Seriously beginning to worry about their safety, the
02:41 hunters all quickly regroup and fire a third warning shot to the left of the beast.
02:47 Surprisingly enough, it only seems to make it even angrier as it continues to stand its ground like
03:06 nothing happened at all. Not wanting any more trouble, the men very quickly pack up their gear
03:13 and finally decide to walk away from the scene altogether. Number 3. At Katmai National Park,
03:21 YouTuber Paxton Graham and his wife almost had their honeymoon hike completely ruined after
03:28 crossing paths with an enormous grizzly bear. Just as they are peacefully walking down the trail,
03:36 they spot the huge beast walking straight towards them. Being completely unarmed, they immediately
03:44 walk off the trail and into the bushes, hoping that the bear will continue on its path and leave
03:51 them alone.
04:01 Bye bear. Thank you bear.
04:09 They both stood there in complete disbelief of what had just happened.
04:16 Number 4. In Alberta, Canada, two completely unarmed men were sure they were about to be
04:25 eaten alive when they were horrifyingly chased down by a very curious black bear.
04:32 This chilling clip starts off as the animal comes running out of the tree line up ahead,
04:39 seemingly curious to grab a closer look of the two men. Most likely expecting it to simply stand
04:46 there and look at them, they both calmly start walking backwards in an attempt to leave the area.
04:54 Back. Stay. That's it. As far as you're going. Stop. Stop. Right now. Stop.
05:03 Despite it being outnumbered, the beast immediately begins following the men as they
05:11 continue to make their way back to the trail. Being completely unarmed, they both try to keep
05:18 an eye out for large rocks on the ground that they could use as weapons if things were to go south.
05:25 It'll be your part now, okay? Yeah. Look around for a rock. What do you say?
05:31 Back. Back. All while continuing to follow the men around, the beast jumps onto a few trees
05:43 and seems to get distracted by its environment, which gives them some hope that it might move on
05:49 and leave them alone eventually.
05:52 That a boy. Show us how you do it. Good boy. Good boy. That's cool, buddy boy. You just keep doing
06:04 that. Stay away from me though. Finally, as the animal keeps on playing around with surrounding
06:13 trees, the men decide to make a run for it as their car is now only about a few hundred feet away.
06:20 After what must have been the most terrifying run of their lives,
06:41 both men thankfully make it back to their car in time and sit there in utter shock of what just
