Goldman Sachs agreed to sell its personal financial management unit to another company called Creative Planning. Goldman acquired this small wealth unit in 2019 through the acquisition of United Capital Financial Partners. The sale of this unit will help Goldman focus on its strategies for ultra-high net worth wealth management and workplace growth. It will also boost profit margins in its asset and wealth management division.
