00:08 with Tom Sandoval while he was dating her friend Ariana Maddox.
00:12 On Saturday, the 28-year-old commented on a clip posted on Instagram where a fan questions
00:17 why she didn't ask Tom to end things with Ariana before they pursued a relationship.
00:23 In her comment, Raquel blamed her low self-esteem as part of the reason she pursued Tom, writing
00:27 quote, "100% you're not wrong.
00:30 I should have had more self-respect than that and should have respected the relationship
00:34 that Ariana had with Tom.
00:35 No excuses.
00:36 However, looking back, I see I had low self-worth and Tom kept telling me he was actively breaking
00:42 up with her amicably for her mental health, which I can now see was magical thinking.
00:47 He had a million and one reasons why they hadn't broken up yet and it was easier to
00:51 stay in that fantasy than to face the fact that the social anxiety and isolation was
00:56 not worth it."

01:06 It was revealed that Ariana and Tom split back in March after he was caught cheating
01:10 on her with Raquel, who is now using her given name of Rachel.

01:19 Vanderpump Rules and sent the world of Bravo and beyond into a frenzy.
01:24 Back in May, former Vanderpump star Brittany Cartwright told Access Hollywood her first

01:30 I was just in complete shock.
01:31 I couldn't hardly believe it.
01:33 I texted Sheena and Lala in the group chat first thing and I was like, "Is this real?"
01:37 Because I found out through TMZ like the rest of the world did.
01:41 Like Sheena didn't tell me because she was already going through so much.
01:44 Like I think I found out the next day or the day after whenever the world found out, you
01:48 know, it wasn't that long in between that it came out publicly.
01:52 But yeah, so I just had to text them.
01:55 I was like, "Is this true?"
01:56 And they both just like wrote, "Yes" in all caps.

02:01 And then the first thing I thought was, "How's Ariana?

02:04 And of course I texted her and, you know, just was like saying, checking in on her if

02:12 We literally live six minutes away from each other.
02:15 So I just, I think I was just in complete shock.

02:20 I never saw that side of her.
02:23 So it just kind of came out of left field, I think, for all of us.

02:36 She broke the news in a fun skit with Derek Hough at her sandwich shop, Something About
