Business and features editor, Chris Burn, talks us through what's in The Yorkshire Post magazine this weekend (2/9/23).
Transcript
00:00 Hi, Chris Byrne here, Yorkshire Post Business and Features Editor.
00:04 It's the weekend, which means another great edition of the Yorkshire Post magazine
00:08 is going to be out this Saturday.
00:11 We've got another load of fantastic features in there for you,
00:14 starting with a chat with a man called Robin Greg Brown,
00:17 a self-styled purveyor of the peculiar.
00:21 He makes musical instruments out of kind of discarded household items like old biscuit tins.
00:27 We've also got an interview with Jane Boiru, who is the new principal keeper at Leeds Art Gallery,
00:33 talking about her story and her ambitions for the gallery moving forward.
00:37 We've also spoken to Wendy Holden, the author.
00:40 Her new novel is all about Princess Diana and imagines her life,
00:45 basically before she joined the royal family and moved from relative obscurity into global prominence.
00:51 There's also a fantastic column this week from Ian McMillan, as ever,
00:55 but this week his column is on fellow Barnsley lads, Michael Parkinson
01:00 and his reflections on his sad passing recently.
01:05 There's so much more else besides in this week's mag. Pick up a copy if you can.
