00:00 Brain death is a brain death concept. It was first introduced in Harvard University in 1968.
00:09 When it comes to the heart beat, it is different from coma.
00:22 Antirejection medicines, immunosuppressants, critical diabetes, 75% success rate.
00:33 From an experimental procedure, we can see that the liver is full.
00:38 We try to reject it.
00:40 Before the doctor puts it in the liver, he has to explain it to the liver.
00:44 So basically, he is happy. He doesn't have to stress.
00:54 Prayapetta Salingumar Sir, please join the stage. Thank you so much.
00:57 [Applause]
01:08 Dr. Prem Nair, he is our provost.
01:14 He says, "Chief Dignitary of a university who oversees, recommends and approves all activities."
01:22 And that's exactly what you are. Without him, we would not be anywhere.

02:12 I don't have the knowledge or experience to speak here.
02:21 But as I was watching the video that we watched earlier,
02:27 I could see the eyes of many people here and the people who are with them.
02:34 For all of you, and for my many loved ones,
02:39 I would like to thank the doctors who brought back many loved ones who we have seen in movies and TV.
02:50 [Applause]
02:52 You may be seeing and experiencing what we have done for you every day.
03:00 But I can understand how important this is to all of us in our lives.
03:06 When I came here, I told the doctor that I was coming to Amrita Hospital for the first time.
03:12 I told Swami that I was scared at first.
03:17 Because I always see people in TV who are not related to cinema,
03:24 and people who say that they have been admitted to Amrita Hospital.
03:28 That's the reception I see.
03:30 When I saw that reception, I was scared at first.
03:33 But when I came here and talked to everyone,
03:36 and when I heard about these doctors, I realized that that reception is a courage.
03:44 Thank you very much.
03:47 I would like to say a few words to Lee Fokin and Amrita Swarshendranth.
03:53 It is about the spiritual revolution.
03:55 Vijayan Karanthala, who is here,
03:59 got his transplant from Amrita Hospital.
04:03 He first acted with me after that.
04:06 I have acted with him in movies before that.
04:11 When I saw Vijayan after the transplant, I was scared.
04:16 I could see Vijayan standing in front of the camera with no confidence.
04:24 But when I saw him today, he is healthy and has regained his old weight.
04:32 And Bala, who is on stage, has scared us for many days.
04:41 I think when I saw Bala 6 months before the surgery,
04:45 he was very unhealthy.
04:47 I saw him on TV and on his famous Facebook Live.
04:54 But when I saw Bala here today, I felt very happy.
04:58 I saw Bala who regained his confidence and comedy and is preparing for his next movie.
05:07 I think the spiritual revolution is what is most needed in this.
05:14 I think it is most important to help people to not ask what is next in life.
05:31 I don't have the knowledge or experience to talk more about this.
05:37 Thank you so much for coming here and for inviting me as part of this inauguration.
05:42 I hope to see you again. Thank you so much.
05:46 [APPLAUSE]
