00:00 to training and those 43 different formations, I just wonder, do you have to keep evolving
00:07 tactics formations because I mean it's also something Pep does and Manchester City are
00:12 ahead of you to get better, you can't play I guess the same way as last season, every
00:17 season almost every game has to be slightly different, would that be fair?
00:20 Well yes, obviously it can be fair but I have only one intention is to play as good as possible,
00:27 to dominate the game for as much as possible so the probability of winning is like against Fulham,
00:33 98% win probability, this is what I can do, after we can give the ball away to opponent and lose
00:39 and we have to score four and they have to score 0.8 and they score two, yeah then it's 2-8
00:45 and we are having this discussion, I guarantee you know because it's result driven, best example is
00:51 Brighton Fulham guys, best example. David he has a difficult period and criticised, now he wins there
00:58 how many passes, 13 passes in half an hour, he wins and now he's the anti-method of this and
01:05 he's brilliant, great I love David, great for him, this is the perspective.
01:09 Can I just ask, has it changed a lot in terms of like 10 years ago because you can analyse stuff
01:17 so quickly now with the software and computers so you can know on Sunday morning exactly how all
01:22 your competitors played, do you think it's almost more complicated, more complex a challenge
01:28 than it would have been maybe 15 years ago?
01:31 And it will be very different in a year's time, believe me, because it's very different a year
01:36 ago and two years ago. It changes that quickly? Believe me, it's a different game.
01:45 For last season there's a lot of expectation on Manchester United because they won a trophy
01:49 in the Champions League, a lot of expectation on Arsenal because you weren't so close to the
01:53 league, but who's got more expectation on them, is it you because you were second in the league
01:56 or is it Manchester United, is it always Manchester United, is it Manchester United with more pressure?
02:00 Yeah I don't know, I don't know how to answer that question, it's more the expectation,
02:05 it's the willingness to do well you know and do your best and try to be as competitive as
02:11 you possibly can to achieve everything that we want to achieve here and we are the Arsenal
02:15 Football Club and this is the demands that we put ourselves, that's it.
02:18 We're seeing at the moment, Manchester United still trying to sign another midfielder,
02:22 how happy are you that you've got that really big bit of business done while we were still
02:26 watching tennis at Wimbledon rather than doing anything else?
02:30 Well it wasn't that easy, believe me, to get it done but we got a lot of things that we wanted
02:36 done, all of them, no it's impossible you know but we are really happy with what we have,
02:41 that's all I can say.
02:42 Mika, you mentioned earlier that obviously not every transfer window shuts today,
02:48 how fair is it that the Saudi window is still open, would you like to see all windows closed
02:54 at the same time or just depend year to year trying to get people out?
02:58 No, well that's a good one, I don't know, it's what it is you know and we knew it from the
03:03 start and you still see things happening today and a lot of comments about it, it's what is
03:10 going to happen, next season will be the same, I don't know, probably it will be regulated,
03:15 I don't know.
03:16 Just to bring things full circle with Eddie, has there been a single enhancement to his
03:22 game that you've seen in the last year or so that you think has elevated him to this?
03:29 There is a lot of things that he has improved obviously, first of all his game understanding
03:35 and his decision making as well especially in certain phases in ball possession, I think his
03:43 aggression without the ball, his intensity, the way he reacts to that, I think physically when
03:48 you look at him he's very different, I just put a picture of this one of him when he was
03:53 playing in Hellend and to now and he's a different player and he's worked so hard to achieve that
03:59 and what I like the most is his mentality and this keeps evolving because he's never going
04:04 to be satisfied, never and that's the way he is.
04:07 Okay thanks very much.
04:09 Thank you.
04:10 See you in the M25 guys.
