00:00 And there you can see on your screen, this is a view from Dragon approaching the International Space Station.
00:08 You can see how close it is. You can begin to see those details on the station.
00:13 And looking straight ahead in the center of your screen was the International docking adapter.
00:20 And this view from inside Dragon Endurance itself.
00:23 So these are our four crew members. You can only see the commander and pilot right now,
00:28 Jasmine McBillie and Andreas Mogensen, just monitoring the approach on those crew display panels.
00:34 Again, they are not making commands at this point.
00:37 Additionally, at that two meters away from the space station, we hear the CHOP call,
00:43 at which point they should not send any commands.
00:45 Right now we are at 23 meters from the space station, continuing to close in on that zenith port of Node 2.
00:52 Down toward the bottom of your screen, you can see the nose cone of Dragon Endeavour,
00:58 which brought the crew six astronauts to the International Space Station.
01:02 So we're expecting to hear the call for Waypoint 2 shortly,
01:04 where we will do a brief pause before moving in towards the docking port.

01:50 Also a cool thing in this view is Dragon is now directly above the International Space Station.
01:56 And you can tell in the view because you can see the clouds on Earth in the background.
02:01 And it looks like we have reached that 20 meter Waypoint 2 mark.
02:09 Station, Houston on the Big Loop, Dragon is on final approach and is go for docking.
02:15 Monitor for steps 5 and 6 in 1.102, Dragon approach and retreat monitoring.
02:21 Houston, station copies all.
02:28 All right, confirmation from Amy Dill, the CAPCOM in Mission Control Houston,
02:41 we have confirmed to the crew that they are moving in for docking.
02:46 So we are now 17, oh, 16 meters away from the International Space Station.
02:51 Again, continuing slowly into the Node 2 Zenith port for docking today.
02:56 Such a cool view, it almost feels like we're on Dragon approaching the International Space Station.
03:08 [PAUSE]
03:11 Space Station and Dragon now flying over Australia.
03:30 And Dragon just 13 meters away.
03:34 Again, a very methodical and careful approach to our docking port.
03:39 Great views coming from Dragon this morning as we get ready to welcome four new crew members to the orbiting laboratory.
03:45 Dragon is at 10 meters.
03:54 Copy, 10 meters.
04:00 [PAUSE]
04:27 We are just moments away from Dragon docking with the International Space Station.
04:32 First will be a soft capture and then there will be 12 hooks deploying six at a time
04:39 to create that hard capture between the vehicle and the station.
04:44 Dragon now just seven meters away.
04:51 Now six meters away from the Node 2 port.
04:55 Five meters.
04:57 [PAUSE]
04:59 Copy, five.
05:01 That call coming from Dragon Commander Jasmine Mogbele, her first spaceflight to the International Space Station.
05:10 Standing by for the call of crew hands off point or CHOP.
05:21 [PAUSE]
05:24 CHOP.
05:33 Copy, CHOP.
05:36 [PAUSE]
05:39 One meter.
05:49 [PAUSE]
05:50 [BEEP]
06:17 And Dragon, we see soft capture complete and attenuation will begin shortly.
06:22 [BEEP]
06:23 Dragon, copy.
06:27 And contact confirmed. 616 AM Pacific time, 261...
06:33 [INAUDIBLE]
06:35 261 statute miles over Australia.
06:40 [BEEP]
06:45 Guys, thank you for the welcome.
06:47 And that welcome coming from the crew aboard the International Space Station.
06:56 Endurance has arrived with its international crew.
06:59 They will begin the hard capture sequence shortly,
07:03 but we are now up to 11 crew members on the International Space Station
07:06 after they float through the hatch this morning.
07:08 And on the big loop, ring retraction is in progress.
07:12 [BEEP]
07:15 Dragon, copy. Ring retraction in progress.
07:18 [BEEP]
07:19 Now again, we don't have views right at this moment of Dragon on the International Space Station,
07:39 but we did see that docking again at 616 AM Pacific time
07:45 as the International Space Station and Dragon were flying 261 statute miles over Australia.
07:52 And there's still a few steps to complete
08:05 before Dragon is securely attached to the station.
08:09 That is... we've now done the soft capture,
08:14 but then there will be the completion of the soft capture ring retraction,
08:18 as well as hard capture sequence beginning,
08:22 and then finally hard dock completing.
08:26 And again, that will require 12 hooks to deploy.
08:30 Again, six at a time will deploy to make that hard capture completion.
08:37 Of course, once we have a successful hard capture,
08:44 it still is going to take a little bit before we see our crew members
08:47 float through the hatch into the International Space Station
08:50 and officially bring us up to that total of 11,
08:53 at least for about the next few days or so.
08:55 We will first pressurize the vestibule.
08:59 Well, Woody Hoburg will open the station side of the hatch.
09:03 He will pressurize the vestibule, the space between both of those hatches,
09:08 the Dragon hatch and the station hatch,
09:10 bringing that to the same pressure as is inside Dragon and the Space Station.
09:14 It's much of what we are used to here on Earth.
09:17 Eventually, they will bring the crew members aboard.
09:22 Again, they will give us a welcome ceremony.
09:26 We'll get to see them and hear their first remarks about their visit to the Space Station,
09:30 maybe what the ride was like.
09:32 Then they will move right into work.
09:35 They will start their safety briefing with the crew,
09:37 making sure that they remember all their training from the ground,
09:41 get brought up to speed on the International Space Station itself.
