Meet the identical twin sisters who have worn matching outfits every day for 23 years.
Rosey Coles and Kathy Heffernan, both 69, love to dress the same when they go out together – and even have the same pair of glasses and pyjamas.
The sisters live next door to each other and spend every day together – taking bus rides, going on walks and shopping.
They share the same style and love donning identical dresses and outfits when they go out for the day.
For 11 years the pair worked together at their cleaning business but have since retired.
Kathy, a mum-of-one, from Aldershot, Hampshire, said: “It’s like being married to someone for 70 years.
“People see us and ask to take a photograph.
“They say they don’t often see twins our age together.
“We both have the same glasses. We wear our hair the same way.
“We have the same pyjamas, but we don’t always wear those at the same time.”
Rosey, a mum-of-two, added: “When we go out, we wear the same things.
“For the last 23 years we’ve been together most days.”
Growing up, the sisters wore a lot of similar clothes from the age of 13 but stopped matching when they both got married and moved apart.
Rosey married in 1974 and Kathy followed suit three years later.
The twins both separated from their husbands in 2000 and moved to live closer together and began dressing the same again.
They moved in next door to each other in 2012 and now share identical looking flats.
Kathy said: “We have exactly the same homes with the same layout and the same grey colour scheme at the moment.”
Kathy and Rosey spent most days together – shopping, visiting villages and even going to doctors' appointments together.
Kathy said: “We go on bus rides.
"We go to a village to a café for a little trip out.
“Sometimes we go out for a drive.”
The fashion loving twins can’t help but purchase new outfits – despite already boasting a wardrobe of over 50 clothes.
Their favourite outfits are their 50s style dresses - fit with petticoat skirts.
Kathy said: “We have so many clothes.
“We always go to the shop and see something we like.
“We spent three hours in John Lewis the other day. I spent £600 on three dresses.
“We don’t argue.
“We wear lots of long dresses and jeans. We have the same coats.
“The wardrobe is packed tight.”
Rosey and Kathy love the compliments they receive on their matching outfits – and said most people struggle to tell them apart.
Kathy said: “We’re always told how lovely we look.
“People don’t know who is who."
Rosey added: "We are very similar, it's creepy."
The sisters also love to go away together – recently going on a cruise to France and Spain together in May 2023 – and make sure to pack the same clothes into their suitcase.
They plan to keep wearing matching outfits for the rest of their lives - but do sometime wear different tops and jeans to each other if they are not going out.
Kathy said: “We don’t like to wear something twice for an evening outfit.
“We can’t help but buy something new.”

00:02 That's it.
00:04 I'm Rosie.
00:06 Hello, and I'm Cathy.
00:08 We like everything the same.
00:10 We've always got company as well. We've always got somebody there which is nice.
00:12 Yeah, and someone to rely on and depend on.
00:14 Tell your secrets too.
00:16 You know it won't go anywhere else.
00:18 [Silence]
00:30 How long have you both been dressed the same for?
00:32 Since 2020.
00:34 What made you start doing that?
00:36 Because we could.
00:38 And we lived together more, so we went out shopping all the time together.
00:40 So we tended to, because we liked the same, we tended to buy the same.
00:42 What are your favourite outfits?
00:44 Favourite? This is one of mine.
00:46 Yeah, I don't mind this. We've got quite a few, haven't we, that we like?
00:48 We like the 50s. We've got some skirts and things upstairs as well, 50s.
00:50 And, yeah, I suppose the 50s era is probably my favourite.
00:52 I'd like to have been a teenager then, obviously we were born then, but I'd like to have been a teenager because I like the way they dress.
00:54 [Silence]
00:56 What sort of things do you bicker over?
00:58 Oh, silly things.
01:00 We do bicker, but not about our clothes.
01:02 We do bicker about our clothes.
01:04 We do bicker about our clothes.
01:06 We do bicker about our clothes.
01:08 We do bicker about our clothes.
01:10 We do bicker about our clothes.
01:12 We do bicker about our clothes.
01:14 We do bicker, but not about our clothes.
01:16 We do bicker a bit, but that's because we're together all the time, I expect, or most of the time.
01:18 We do bicker a bit, but that's because we're together all the time, I expect, or most of the time.
01:20 We like walking, we like dancing.
01:22 We like walking, we like dancing.
01:24 We like shopping.
01:26 And a bit of karaoke.
01:28 And we like talking to people.
01:30 Yes.
01:32 We love talking.
01:34 We love talking.
01:36 We like talking.
01:38 And we like talking to people.
01:40 Yes.
01:42 My sister said to me, "Let's go and get a tattoo done."
01:44 And she paid for it for me.
01:46 And she paid for it for me.
01:48 And anyway, she said to me, "You go first," because I've been worried,
01:50 And anyway, she said to me, "You go first," because I've been worried,
01:52 and I know it's supposed to be painful.
01:54 So anyway, I did go first, and she said,
01:56 but anyway, it was horrendous, the pain.
01:58 Absolutely horrendous, but anyway, we both did it.
02:00 What was it like when people spot you together,
02:10 and you say, "I don't mind," and they say, "No, we don't mind."
02:12 Usually they're nice comments.
02:14 So the first thing I always say is, "Are you twins?"
02:16 And we say, "Yes."
02:18 And they say, "I bet you're fed up with people asking you that."
02:20 And we say, "No, we don't mind at all."
02:22 No, because we're like, "No, we're quite happy.
02:24 We like chatting to people anyway."
02:26 And we've been together so much, it's like one, really.
02:28 Isn't it?
02:30 I can't imagine her not being here,
02:32 whereas you do know that your other siblings will go,
02:34 but the thought of her not being around
02:36 is a different feeling.
02:38 It's quite eerie and quite scary, really.
02:40 You just feel like it's part of you,
02:42 the other half of you.
