  • last year
It’s been confirmed that the inquiry into the Lucy Letby case will look into the experiences of babies from Wales. It’s believed a number of babies involved could be from Wales, as the convicted serial killer was based at the Countess of Chester hospital just across the English border.

A man has died after saving two children from a waterfall in mid Wales. Emergency services were called to a site at the Bannau Brycheiniog national park on Friday at around 4:45 in the afternoon. Specialist divers had to be called to retrieve Mr Mohan Muru Ganan Thurajjah’s body on Saturday morning.

One of the survivors of the A48 crash which saw three people killed in March, has admitted drink driving after being stopped by police on the weekend. 32 year old Shane Loughlin was charged with drink driving, driving while banned and driving without insurance. He will be sentenced at a later date.
