00:08 - The Dalkin University is an elite training,
00:13 educational institution for superheroes in training.
00:18 So for any young superheroes that wanna reach the height
00:22 of their potential in terms of marketing and franchising
00:25 and all that stuff, that's what the Dalkin University is.
00:27 It's kind of like the Yale or the Harvard
00:30 of superhero training.
00:32 Where I come in is I play Polarity
00:34 and I'm on the board of trustees of the Dalkin University.
00:36 And my son is one of the leading students
00:39 at the Dalkin University
00:40 and I'm trying to help elevate his stature
00:42 and get his franchise up to the point
00:44 where he can maybe join the seven.
00:46 - Polarity is this big time superhero
00:49 who didn't quite make it to the seven,
00:50 but he's up there, he's up there
00:52 and his name holds prestige both in entertainment
00:55 and in the practical superhero aspect.
00:58 And Andre, he doesn't want anything to do with that.
01:00 Like he kind of, well he does, but he doesn't.
01:02 He's in his father's shadow, but he wants to step out of it.
01:05 He doesn't wanna use his name,
01:07 but he kind of has to use his name.
01:08 And he's quite a slacker.
01:10 He's a charmer, he's a slacker
01:12 and he doesn't want any responsibility whatsoever.

01:27 - Welcome to Goodalkin University.
01:29 We've trained the best and brightest young heroes since 1965.
01:34 Goodalkin is a safe space for you to thrive.
01:39 - I think Marie ultimately, you know,
01:41 she has moments where she has to decide,
01:43 do I want to look like a hero or do I want to be a hero?
01:46 And she's chosen following the rules in moments
01:51 that have gotten her into some trouble with her friends.
01:53 But I think that ultimately she's choosing
01:55 to be a real hero and to do the right thing,
01:57 even if it is at her own expense.
01:59 Even though she's wanted more than anything
02:02 forever to be in the seven.
02:04 - The thing that makes this campus
02:07 kind of different from your regular one
02:09 is the fact that they're superheroes.
02:11 And the nature of their superpowers
02:13 means that it's a pretty volatile situation.
02:16 It's a little bit like a superhuman zoo
02:19 because you have a constraint of this kind of
02:22 academic system versus these kind of soft souls
02:26 trying to find themselves.
02:27 - The ranking system factors in all of these qualifications
02:31 for all of the students and chooses like a top 10.
02:34 And essentially the top 10 students
02:36 are the ones that are positioned to represent a city
02:39 or hopefully be in the seven.
02:41 So it's supposed to be based off of your skills
02:44 and also your social media.
02:45 They say it's like a fair system,
02:47 but like a lot of things in Vought,
02:49 it's absolutely not because then you get kind of famous
02:52 and all of a sudden you're number one.
