00:07 Man, I'll tell you, if you are looking for a road ripper and a fuel sipper, I have found
00:11 it this week for sure.
00:13 We're joined right here by Nick Hines.
00:15 We're up here at Camelback Hyundai.
00:16 I got this 2023 Tucson right here behind us that has totally impressed me.
00:21 So if you haven't had a chance to check these out, this is something you want to do.
00:25 Now, Nick, how long have you worked up here?
00:27 About two years now.
00:28 Right on, right on.
00:29 So you have repeat customers yet coming in for these Tucsons?
00:32 All the time and I have a hard time keeping them here.
00:35 When you combine the fuel savings with the price point, I mean, luxury brands aren't
00:40 even really giving you as many features and saving you the gas at the same time.
00:44 Amen, amen.
00:45 With that being said, let's go ahead and take a look because there's a few features right
00:48 up front that I really like when it comes to this.
00:51 First of all, check out these LED lights.
00:54 This is definitely a unique style of lights.
00:56 Going down the road at night, this thing looks like a freight train.
01:00 And if you see down here, great projector beam lights down here, light the world for
01:05 you, I should say.
01:07 And don't forget, this is a hybrid.
01:09 So if you look in here, you do have cooling vents because it does have a motor in there.
01:14 And that little 1.6 turbocharged motor is making 180 horsepower by itself.
01:19 But if you combine it with the electricity and the hybrid part right here, 226 horsepower
01:25 really steps this thing up.
01:27 Easy to get on the freeway.
01:29 Now, one of the things that we like also, 19-inch alloy wheels right here.
01:33 Now, this is on-demand all-wheel drive.
01:37 Now, if you move up here to the mirror, blind spot control right here.
01:41 And there's also a camera in here that Nick's going to explain a little bit about.
01:45 So Nick, tell me what's going on in there.
01:47 So as Wally mentioned, you do have the blind spot indicators on your mirrors, which not
01:52 only let you know if something's in your blind spot.
01:54 They will also stiffen up the steering.
01:57 The car will avoid you merging into vehicles in your blind spot.
02:01 Not only that, when you put on your turn signal here, you actually get a live feed, depending
02:06 on whether you're going left or going right, of what is going on in this mirror.
02:11 So so much luxury, you don't even have to turn your neck.
02:13 You can keep your head straight forward and see what's going on in your blind spot directly
02:18 in your instrument cluster.
02:19 Moving right along, you got hands-free driving, lane follow assist.
02:23 It's a sophisticated safety system that keeps you in the lane, but it also steers the vehicle.
02:28 So if you get something in your eye, you want to take a quick bite to eat, you can do it
02:31 in confidence because the Tucson is your co-pilot.
02:34 It's steering for you, as well as smart cruise control.
02:38 Wally, what's your favorite feature down here?
02:40 You know, actually, it's probably got to be the wireless phone charging right there.
02:44 You know, always, always have trouble with my battery keeping up with me.
02:48 I'm on the phone so much.
02:49 But I also like the fact you got heated and cooled seats there and a heated steering wheel
02:53 button too.
02:54 I actually got my cooled seats going and I love it, especially in Arizona.
02:58 You know, life can be stressful enough as it is without your bottom sweating.

03:03 Time to be cool, right?
03:04 So these AC seats definitely come in handy.
03:07 You have them on both sides here.
03:09 Shift by wire, very futuristic way to shift gears.
03:15 Parking camera, which you can pull up at any moment, as you can see there.
03:19 You don't have to be going in reverse.
03:20 If you think somebody's pulling up close up on you, you can just hit this button and get
03:24 360 degrees of awareness.
03:27 There you go.
03:28 Well, let's check out the back too because Hyundai didn't forget about the back.
03:31 And one of the things that we really like, especially here in the summertime again, we're
03:35 talking about it.
03:36 We've got the reclining seats back here.
03:38 You do have your little center that pulls out and you put your water bottles in.
03:43 But if you look right here, you're going to see we got great air conditioning vents back
03:47 here as well as a couple of USB outlets.
03:50 Keeps everybody handy.
03:51 Now if you don't have somebody back here and maybe you need to haul a little bit, you're
03:54 going camping or something, 60/40 split right here, you can make more room.
03:59 Let's check out the back too.
04:01 Now we talk about camping, talk about the all-wheel drive.
04:05 This thing is capable of going pretty much anywhere.
04:08 Now if you look in here, we manually put that one down.
04:12 Right here is, if I can see it, here we go, is another one.
04:16 So you open it up right here, this is actually enough room to actually sleep in if you really
04:20 want to.
04:21 So if you're going to go camping, this is like the perfect vehicle being the all-wheel
04:24 drive.
04:25 Now if you look underneath here, you do have a little bit of storage.
04:28 There is no spare tire in here.
04:30 We just do have the little tire mobility kit here that if you happen to be low on air,
04:35 that's about all it's going to do.
04:37 But that's one of the main things.
04:39 And now let's talk a little bit about the MSRP on this, Nick.
04:43 Because it's $40,455.
04:46 Now I know Hyundai, I mean, we always talked about the price point, we talked about everything
04:51 else.
04:53 What's your feeling on this?
04:54 You guys going to have any deals going on, you think?
04:57 Well I mean, the Hyundai Tucson is already an aggressively priced vehicle for all the
05:02 features and what you get at that price point.
