00:00 So as we go into the start of Sunday, then those showers across the southwest will make
00:04 their way north-eastwards into Wales and the Midlands, and later on into northern England,
00:10 Northern Ireland and southern Scotland.
00:12 Now these showers could be heavy and thundery too, so we do have a yellow thunderstorm warning
00:18 out for those northern regions that I mentioned.
00:21 And this is because we could see those showers banding together, and that could bring some
00:25 localised disruption with some heavy downpours, hail and some strong gusty winds.
00:31 So do keep an eye on the forecast if you are in these areas.
00:35 But just because you are in the warning area doesn't mean you will necessarily see a thunderstorm,
00:39 as they can be a little bit hit and miss.
00:42 Now into Sunday afternoon, things will start to brighten up a little across the southwest,
00:46 with the best of the sunshine still across the southeast, even though it might be a bit
00:51 hazy.
00:52 And here we will see those highest temperatures once again, so reaching into the low 30s,
00:58 31, 32 is the forecast high for Sunday.
01:01 And that would make it the seventh consecutive day that we've seen 30 Celsius recorded somewhere
01:06 in the UK this September.
01:10 Now as we go into Sunday evening, those showers across the north will continue for a time
01:15 and will be heavy as well, but they will slowly make their way out towards the North Sea.
01:20 So still some time to see some disruption into Sunday evening.
01:25 As we go into the early hours of Monday, there will be some clear spells in the east, but
01:29 low cloud, mist and fog will develop further west.
01:32 And we'll start to see this band of rain across Scotland, making its way south-eastwards and
01:37 into Northern Ireland too.
01:40 It's going to be another generally warm night again on Sunday night, temperatures still
01:45 in the mid to high teens, but starting to cool down a bit more widely across the northwest.
01:50 It's a bit of a gloomy start for some on Monday, brighter in the east, but any low cloud, mist
01:56 and fog will break for a time, allowing for some brightness.
02:00 But this is before this band of cloud and rain makes its way further south-eastwards.
02:05 A few showers developing ahead of this as well, and they could be heavy, maybe thundery
02:10 too.
02:11 Lots of some sunny spells though into the afternoon, and feeling pleasant in the sunshine,
02:16 but those temperatures not getting as high as what we've seen through much of the last
02:20 week and into the first half, throughout the weekend as well.
02:24 So highs in the mid-twenties for Monday, 25, maybe 26 in the south-east.
02:31 Mid to high teens though in the north, maybe just scraping 20 degrees across northern parts
02:36 of England.
02:38 But what about the rest of next week?
02:40 Well it looks like it's set to remain fairly changeable, maybe feeling quite autumnal as
02:45 well, with some outbreaks of rain and showers too.
02:48 But I think the thing that's going to be most noticeable is that change in temperature,
02:52 so feeling quite a bit cooler than this week and much of the weekend, with temperatures
02:56 coming closer to average, so that's going to be in the mid to high teens across the
03:01 north, higher teens maybe just low twenties for a time in the south.
