00:00 RMK12 will be re-aligned with the vision of the economic body that aims to strengthen and
00:08 plan the country's economy for a 10-year period.
00:12 The government is committed to spending at least RM90 billion a year for 2023-2025.
00:23 This means the government will spend RM400 billion under RMK12,
00:31 and even add RM15 billion to the ceiling,
00:36 to make the total amount of RM415 billion.
00:41 Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said this when tabling the 12MP midterm review in the Dewan Rakyat today.
00:48 Anwar said the additional allocation is necessary to enhance management quality
00:53 and reallocate subsidies to cover basic needs.
00:56 Anwar also announced 17 Big Bold measures, which carry 71 main initiatives under the MTR.
