00:03 - Nikki, quick question on Aaron Rodgers.
00:04 Now, granted it's fresh, it happened less than 24 hours ago.
00:07 If we're looking for the future of the New York Jets,
00:10 are there any wonders if Aaron Rodgers
00:12 actually doesn't come back and retires from this Achilles?
00:14 I mean, how would an organization like the Jets
00:16 actually handle this?
00:17 - To be honest, I personally, with someone his age,
00:22 I think an Achilles injury is, if it is a torn Achilles,
00:25 I think it's really serious and it'll be hard
00:28 for him to completely bounce back and be,
00:30 not only an NFL quarterback and be able to take hits,
00:33 but be the NFL quarterback that he is
00:35 and the Jets expect him to be.
00:37 So, I mean, I hope that it's not the case.
00:39 I hope he does come back.
00:40 I think he has a three-year contract.
00:41 So that's, you know, they're expecting to get some
00:44 like that of him at least.
00:45 But for me, I don't think that he comes back
00:48 and is the NFL MVP quarterback
00:51 that everyone's used to seeing.
00:52 So I think the Jets already probably have their eyes ahead
00:55 like, okay, where do we go from here?
00:56 Because I think they know Zach Wilson isn't the answer.
00:59 I think he could be okay this year,
01:01 but I don't think he's gonna be anything past that,
01:03 to be honest.
