00:03 Alabama drops to 10 in the top 25 after their loss to Texas.
00:07 And when I was watching this game,
00:08 definitely saw some things that needed to be addressed.
00:11 There were penalties.
00:12 Their quarterback was sacked five times.
00:14 They allowed 21 points in the fourth quarter.
00:16 What did you think this loss said about Alabama?
00:19 And what kind of things do you think
00:21 they need to fine tune before they start SEC play?
00:24 Well, I've been saying for a while now, almost a year,
00:27 really, that I don't think Alabama is the same Alabama.
00:30 I don't see the buttoned up nature of a Nick Saban program.
00:34 I think that they're on the downhill slide.
00:37 The game against Texas absolutely
00:39 reaffirmed that position for me.
00:42 And this is a team that they've got
00:43 to create some turnovers on defense, which
00:46 great Nick Saban teams always do.
00:47 They get zero against Texas.
00:49 They've got to cut down on the penalties, which has been
00:51 a chronic problem last year, and now here
00:54 in a big game this year.
00:55 They've got to find a running game, which for some reason,
00:57 Alabama, which has always had one,
01:00 did not have an effective running game against Texas.
01:03 And I'm just not sure whether it gets fixed.
01:05 We're going to find out here.
01:06 The SEC schedule is going to ramp up,
01:08 and it's going to be difficult. And Alabama's
01:10 got to show me a lot for me to believe that they are still
01:13 a SEC title or national title contender.
