00:00 My name is Aleksandra Kośmicka, I am a worker of the Department of Mining,
00:06 Museum of Industry and Technology in the Old Mine Multicultural Park.
00:10 Today I have the pleasure to invite you to a mini-exhibition
00:13 dedicated to the Barburk tradition of the mining festival,
00:18 which is still cultivated here in December, year after year.
00:25 The exhibition shows the whole genealogy of this tradition,
00:31 from the time of the most recent,
00:35 but those that are quite characteristic and recognizable for us,
00:39 for the people of today.
00:41 This mini-exhibition is also a tribute to miners,
00:47 to the immaterial heritage that still exists here.
00:52 It is beautiful and I think we can still enjoy their annual performance.
00:58 The mini-exhibition was created for the needs of the European Heritage Days,
01:04 held every year, so it will last quite a short time.
