00:10 Hi, I'm Kevin from Ubisoft and I recently had the opportunity to play and record Assassin's Creed Mirage for two hours together with a lot of press and content creators.

00:33 My session started with a half hour of free roam so that I could get to know the controls and get used to them.
00:39 But since I'm the best gamer of all time, I jumped into the right session after five minutes.
00:47 But again, just to keep you entertained, this is what Assassin's Creed Mirage is about.
00:52 Assassin's Creed Mirage is a tribute to the series and especially to the first Assassin's Creed game.
00:59 It takes us to a magnificent Baghdad in the 9th century, at the height of its golden age.
01:05 We take on the role of Basim, a street thief with a mysterious past, who, in his search for answers, joins the hidden in Alamut.
01:14 Mirage will be a focused narrative action-adventure experience with modern gameplay elements in the field of parkour, stealth and attacks.
01:23 And that's exactly what I was able to experience in my first session.
01:27 I was allowed to play a complete and quite long quest series, which was about finding out who is directing and manipulating the skills around the trade in the Bazaar of Baghdad.
01:36 This means that we have the area "Research" in the menu. Basically, the quests are marked and revealed piece by piece, the more information you find out about the respective quest or target.
01:48 For this, I did all kinds of things in my session. Stabbed dealers to get information from them, stole things, stalked people, killed targets, and so on.
01:59 My quest started with bringing back an old friend Kong, his box of turned-off tea leaves.
02:06 However, these were super well guarded by Shergens, and as it is, I tried fighting first after I had taken a close look at the area around my target.
02:14 That didn't go so well.
02:18 I quickly understood that "fighting" in Assassin's Creed Mirage should be more like the last alternative, if everything else is actually wrong.
02:28 My attempt to get the box with the turned-off tea leaves was much more promising.
02:33 And so, after successfully stealing the tea leaves, I was on my way to Kong with the box on my arm.
02:39 I hardly managed to get Kong to like me, and I was told about other problems the seemingly honest businessman had. His goods were no longer able to get into the city because they were intercepted by guards at the port, who apparently were looking for something special in them and were receiving orders from someone from way up there.

03:03 In short, if I help Kong with his goods problem, it could also help me.
03:08 Basim wants access to a large auction that takes place in the bazaar, the so-called "Wealth Round", and Kong could help me get access.
03:18 So I'm looking for the port master to clear Kong's trade route again.
03:22 After the conspiracy of a merchant against information, I know where the warehouse with the confiscated goods is located, and here I tried it directly with the sneaking approach and succeeded.

03:40 The name reveals itself in the field of research, so my current goal, and the research has been really fun so far. Stealth in Assassin's Creed is back again.

03:57 But in his warehouse I come across a new type of enemy that makes things quite complicated. A shooter wants to kill my eagle Enkidu as soon as I call him.

04:10 To solve this problem, I have to sneak into the warehouse, which I could neither get information from nor mark the enemies.
04:19 This brings a super nice pinch of nervous tickle, because I already had the feeling that there could be an undiscovered enemy behind every corner.

04:41 After the quest around Cool Lulu, I have three ability points and can invest them directly into the chain attack from the shadow tree.

05:14 At the top of the power pyramid of the Alkakh region is the treasure master, responsible for corruption, stolen property, oppressed traders and other evil.
05:24 I have found out so far that the treasure master is looking for a special hairpin.
05:30 In addition to more information about the treasure master, I also need this hairpin.
05:34 The goal is to lure the treasure master out of this big auction, the so-called prosperity round or Dayratalmal, and to find out his true identity.
05:44 So I also need an audience with the treasure master to put an end to this hustle and bustle.
05:50 Okay, that sounded very pathetic.
05:54 But seriously, now it's getting really interesting. The following section took place completely in and around the bazaar of Alkakh.
06:01 Here I confuse traders for information again, stalk two women who are talking about a special scent and ... do something for Kong again.
06:09 This time even with a little puzzle, in which I have to push a shelf from one room to the other to get to Kong's favorite item.
06:18 The shelf only fits through the passage when I blow it up.
06:23 So I find information about the hairpin, the treasure master and the big auction in the following.
06:30 I don't want to spoil the end of the quest here, but I want to tell you so much.
06:35 At the big auction, I could have even offered to get the hairpin, I would have had enough dough.
06:41 And to get the audience at the treasure master, I had to get two other pieces of jewelry to be able to get rid of him at the end.
06:51 That was a huge questline that offered a lot of exciting moments, a lot of stealth and a dense story.
06:59 And that ended my session with the game.
