00:47 - Allow me to apologize for being quite so late,
00:54 as we have just come from Manila
00:57 and the mix ups with luggage and such.
01:01 So,
01:01 I did not think it would be appropriate
01:05 for me to come in my shorts, so,
01:08 I thought I should wait for my suit.
01:11 (speaking in foreign language)
01:15 - We also started to worry about borrowings.
01:34 Although, our borrowings in terms of as a ratio GDP
01:38 are not as high as maybe our neighboring countries.
01:43 We are standing at about 62 point something,
01:46 62.3 up to 63% of GDP.
01:50 But for us, that is high.
01:52 (speaking in foreign language)
02:07 So, we have continued to develop our agricultural sector.
02:12 And the aspiration, once again,
02:14 is that we are able to provide a sufficient supply of food
02:19 at prices that people can afford.
02:21 And that's still, we are not there yet,
02:24 but we have made many important steps to start that.
02:27 And I said, we cannot now continue to depend on importation,
02:32 which is what has happened for the Philippines.
02:35 In the past years, it became the easy way out.
02:38 Just import more, import more rice,
02:40 import more corn, import more everything.
02:43 And the pandemic showed us that this was not
02:47 a wise choice to have made.
02:51 And so, we have continued to develop
02:54 our agricultural sector.
