Pittsburgh Steelers CB Patrick Peterson talks about the impact of losing Cam Heyward for an extended period of time.

00:10 And I don't know how long he's out for, but hopefully it's not too long.

00:14 But as far as the secondary, we know Cam creates a push in the pocket

00:19 to force the quarterback to either until Ilovais through or

00:23 not having his feet set.

00:26 And hopefully getting the ball into the secondary to where we can make

00:29 a play on the ball, but missing Cam is gonna be used for it.

00:32 But those does a great job of making sure that the guys behind him can do

00:36 enough to pick up a side.

00:38 >> What are you seeing out of those guys that are behind him?

00:42 >> Honestly, I haven't seen cuz today was our first day.

00:45 So I have to go watch them today.

00:47 I'll see who they have in there now.

00:49 Cuz today, obviously the first day of game plan.

00:51 So I'm trying to get my keys down pack and

00:55 make sure my communication is up to par with my guys in the back end.

01:06 How do you guys keep up the speed of your communications and

01:09 reading the right keys in games when you guys have that?

01:13 >> For the most part, coaches do a good job of putting us in game situation and

01:17 practice, kind of giving us an idea of what we're kind of gonna see in a game.

01:22 So throughout the week, kind of have a idea of what we're gonna get when we see

01:27 certain formation.

01:28 So when we are out there, when we do get a certain personnel,

01:32 there's 11 guys that they're talking about possibilities that can come up.

01:37 And that's one of the key components of communicating and

01:40 being on top of being ahead of the offense.

01:42 But not just one guy thinking about talking about what he thinks is gonna come.

01:46 Everybody is on the same page.

01:48 And if it comes, it comes.

01:49 If it don't, everybody's on the same page.

01:50 So we're gonna play solid sound.
