00:00 >> And then the two games and how do you feel the transition from safety to
00:04 linebacker?
00:05 >> I feel like it's been a good transition so far.
00:08 I feel like it's kind of just gotta take some reps, like even the spring ball,
00:12 fall cancel helped me, but the game reps, getting more of those has been good.
00:16 >> What's the biggest challenge you think Houston's gonna present for
00:20 you guys on offense?
00:22 >> I probably have to say RPO or
00:24 just the ability of the quarterback being able to run.
00:28 So that I just have to say, we have to have good eye discipline and
00:31 just everybody has to do their one eleventh and then just if he starts to run,
00:35 don't leave your man to early until he crosses the line and
00:38 just make sure we do everything right.
00:40 >> How big of a confidence boost was it for
00:42 you guys last week to hold them out of the end zone?
00:46 >> I'd say a really good confidence boost, I know us as defense,
00:50 we were talking about that, just trying to keep them out of the end zone.
00:53 So we just try to fly around, be fast, physical, just basic legs.
00:57 >> Kinda like I asked Andrew,
00:59 how do you guys prove last year when the flu can kinda keep that chip on your shoulder?
01:03 >> I feel like the chip on your shoulder, to be honest with you, from last year,
01:09 I feel like it really never went away,
01:11 cuz no matter how many games you win, people are always saying something.
01:14 So, and even how last season ended,
01:17 like kinda all summer we're thinking about it, trying to just write a new season.
01:23 >> Who have you seen start to maybe step into a leadership role on the defensive
01:26 side of the ball this year, as some of those guys graduated off last year's team?
01:30 >> I would like to, even though some of the guys that left,
01:36 I'd like to say it's more so like the returners are more so the leaders.
01:40 So people like Josh and Mark are more so the leaders, like vocal leaders.
01:46 Cuz there's also people like me, myself, I'm not really much of a talker, but
01:49 I'm more so the kinda just do actions, just doing the right things.
01:53 and people seeing that and they want it just to keep doing more.
