00:02 Here is our weather update.

00:04 At present, the sky is cloudy in a large part of the country because of the Southwest Monsoon.

00:12 The low-pressure area that we are monitoring is a part of Kumilos, near the Taiwan and Batanes area.

00:18 Earlier this morning, the low-pressure area was 405 kilometers from the northeast of Itbayat, Batanes.

00:30 This is still a low-chance of a storm.

00:34 We expect that the low-pressure area will be outside of the 24-hour mark.

00:41 The weather forecast for today is a chance of a thunderstorm,

00:51 in Bataan, Sambales, Occidental Mindoro and Palawan.

00:57 Meanwhile, the southern part of the country, including Metro Manila,

01:02 is expected to be sunny and clear, with a chance of a cloudy sky for almost the whole day.

01:12 But there is still a chance of isolated rain.

01:16 Let's move to Visayas and Mindanao, because of the Southwest.

01:21 The western Visayas, including the Zamboanga Peninsula and Northern Mindanao, will experience a cloudy sky,

01:32 with a chance of scattered rain and thunderstorms.

01:37 In the southern part of Visayas and the northern part of Mindanao, we have fair weather except for isolated rain.

01:47 For those who plan to visit our different seas,

01:52 it is safe because we expect that the weather will be sunny until the whole country is dry.

02:00 In the West Coast, from Saturday to Monday next week,

02:08 the storm will still have an effect tomorrow and only in Palawan.

02:13 The storm will continue to move away, so on Sunday and Monday next week,

02:19 the storm will have no effect on the country.

02:22 So for the Philippines, like Metro Manila,

02:25 in three days, we will have fair weather except for isolated rain.

02:34 The sun will rise later at 5.45 in the morning.

02:38 The sun will set later in the afternoon at 5.58 in the afternoon.
