This office in the heart of Poblacion blends the best of WFH and RTO to come up with its own version of a ‘home office’. Take a look inside Mosaic Solutions, a Philippine-based F&B solutions startup that transformed a stylish Poblacion home into a unique office that exudes the old-school vibes of Singapore shophouses.

00:16 So it's really on brand for us
00:18 as a solution provider into that sector.
00:22 Also, it's just a fun place to be.
00:24 So people can go after work.
00:26 It's a very easy spot to go choose happy hour
00:28 down the street, meet up with friends
00:30 or go out as a Mosaic team as well.
00:33 So we really wanted the office environment
00:37 to be reflective of Mosaic as a brand,
00:40 but also of our culture of one that's really built
00:43 around teamwork and collaboration.
00:45 And being in an office, I think is more appealing
00:49 to the workforce, especially as we're bringing people back
00:52 from work from home.
00:52 We wanted to have an environment
00:54 that really attracted people
00:56 and really got them excited about being in the office,
00:59 but then also allowed for that organic collaboration.
01:03 So as you walk around here, you know, it's a lot of tables,
01:06 it's not cubes, it's not offices.
01:08 So it really allows people to mix and match
01:11 between cross-functional teams
01:12 and not just sit within your own department.
01:15 But then also have that community space.
01:17 So we have the kitchen downstairs,
01:19 we have the lanai upstairs to allow people
01:21 to socialize as well outside of work.
01:24 We also are really cognizant of the fact
01:26 that we're a startup and we're young and we're energetic.
01:29 And so we really wanted the office
01:30 to reflect all of that as well.
01:33 I know when I first looked at the house,
01:40 it was, it had been, seemed to have been untouched
01:42 for a while in terms of the furniture that was here
01:45 than in different rooms.
01:46 But we really did overhaul with our partners at AHG
01:50 to walk top to bottom and figure out what we wanted
01:54 in each area and what was really important.
01:56 We wanted to keep some of the original details.
01:58 So the staircase and the spiral staircase going upstairs
02:01 and some of the light fixtures to keep that feel,
02:04 the historical feel as well.
02:05 It really reflects the importance of team,
02:08 the collaboration that it helps foster,
02:11 but also it reflects the fact that we are a startup.
02:14 As the business continues to scale,
02:16 we will still keep this true to our roots.
02:18 And I think the office helps us do that.

02:23 Mosaic is a technology solutions provider.
02:28 We provide solutions into F&B, retail,
02:31 and now into malls as well
02:32 to help them streamline operations,
02:34 drive efficiency, and ultimately drive higher profit margin.
02:38 With the, especially with the pandemic,
02:44 there's been a explosion
02:46 of kind of niche technology providers.
02:48 They all provide value,
02:49 but it's become really overwhelming
02:51 for a lot of F&B operators and retailers
02:54 to try to manage five, 10,
02:55 or even more different technology vendors.
02:57 So what we're trying to do now
02:59 is to use our core product suite,
03:01 which is point of sale, purchasing, inventory, and analytics
03:05 as really the restaurant management system,
03:07 and then add the ecosystem
03:09 of all these other niche providers around that.
03:11 So we can aggregate all of that,
03:13 become truly a one-stop shop for our customers,
03:17 and then provide that data to them
03:19 all in one platform as well.
03:21 So it's much easier to use.
03:23 And what we're trying to do
03:25 is really help them to digitize,
03:27 but do it in a more efficient way.
03:29 Again, using us as sort of that core
03:32 and then helping them put data into their hands
03:36 at the right place, at the right time
03:37 to make better decisions.
03:39 The two things that really help differentiate us
03:46 in the market are data and what we can do with that
03:49 in our analytics platform,
03:50 and then this ecosystem of partners
03:52 that we've built around us.
03:54 We've signed nine partners this year already
03:57 to build to bring into the Mosaic ecosystem.
04:00 And as we take that forward,
04:01 we wanna be having even more integrations
04:04 and be able to solve pain points for our customers.
04:07 So as an example,
04:08 we've recently launched the ability to do e-payments,
04:11 to do automated payments through our POS.
04:14 We've launched order management.
04:15 We're launching loyalty.
04:17 And I think what we'll do is sort of how do we evolve that?
04:19 So becoming even more ingrained in financial services
04:23 and helping our clients get access to capital as an example,
04:26 but then also taking all that data
04:28 and taking it from being descriptive to being prescriptive.
04:31 So showing people exactly what that data is telling them,
04:35 but also taking the next step and how to use that
04:38 and how to apply that to, again,
04:40 make their operations more efficient
04:42 and drive a higher margins for them as well.

04:47 So we really wanna become a well-known brand
04:54 within our space, not just in the Philippines,
04:56 but across Southeast Asia over the next few years.
