PSYCHOANALYSIS AND PLACES OF SOCIAL TRAUMA (2016)

"Psychoanalysis and places of social trauma" is the 5th congress of the series "Mediterranean Id-entities", held in Apulia since 2008. The congresses are organized by Frenis Zero psychoanalytic publishing house http://web.tiscali.it/cepsidi . Every two years Frenis Zero publishing house organizes an international congress as a chance of reflection in which psychoanalysts and prominent cultured people hold a dialogue about themes concerning Mediterranean history and present day. The projet of inviting in Apulia, crossroads of the Mediterranean Sea, such personalities in order to reflect together with the public about mediterranean "civilization discomforts" (transculturalism, migrations, transgenerational transmission of collective traumas) started in 2008 when Frenis Zero, with the support of the Regional Councillorship of the Mediterranean, organized the first "Mediterranean Id-entities" Congress.
