00:02 Now, after the Dolphins had this emotional, fantastic win on Sunday,
00:07 I guess I'm not surprised that the money has come in very heavily on them.
00:12 They are three point favorites now in New England on Sunday with a total of 46 and
00:17 a half.
00:18 Again, Warren, depending on who you think is smart and not, it seems to me a lot of
00:23 the, I guess, smart, sharp people are taking the Patriots this week,
00:29 plus the points.
00:30 Miami's defense struggled, Vic Fangio after the game said it was all his fault,
00:34 that he needs to clean things up.
00:36 And let's be honest, New England did look pretty good against Philadelphia last
00:40 week, they had a chance to win that game.
00:42 Can the Dolphins defense do enough to come out of Foxborough with a three point
00:47 win here?
00:48 >> Well, the Dolphins played this paper soft defense last week.
00:53 I mean, they played a ton of zone and Justin Herbert picked them off
00:56 underneath, but the more concerning element here was the fact that the, and
01:00 this takes a lot to do this, but the LA Charters had so
01:05 much success on the ground, Craig, that they just decided let's get the ball out
01:09 of Justin Herbert's hands and let's just run the football with Austin Eckler and
01:13 company and our backup running back.
01:14 And they averaged the number one most EPA per rush,
01:17 the number one most success rate, the number one yards per carry,
01:20 number one total rushing yards of week one.
01:23 They had 44% of their runs gained three plus yards before contact, okay,
01:28 three plus yards before contact.
01:29 That's why they were averaging 6.5 yards per carry.
01:32 They were the best rushing offense of any team in the NFL against this
01:37 Miami Dolphins defense.
01:39 As a result, I think Bill Belichick is gonna have a lot of opportunities
01:43 to do more of what he wants.
01:44 They fell into that 16 to nothing hole last week against Philadelphia Eagles,
01:48 the pick six in the rain.
01:51 And then all of a sudden they had to go pass heavy.
01:53 When they did go pass heavy, they had a ton of success doing so,
01:55 mainly to their tight end Hunter Henry.
01:57 But they were able to spread the ball around.
01:59 Mac Jones looked a little bit more comfortable in this Bill O'Brien offense.
02:03 And I think that they're going to have more opportunities to be balanced here.
02:06 I'm also wondering about the checkmate on the other side of the board,
02:11 where we'll get to see what Bill Belichick's gonna do to the short motion
02:14 that Mike McDaniel trotted out last week for
02:17 the first time against the Charters, had a lot of success with Tyreek Hill.
02:21 Are they gonna be able to get away with those same things here?
02:23 Or is Bill Belichick gonna be able to do some things differently with his defense
02:27 to slow that down?
02:28 It's gonna be a fun game, an exciting game,
02:30 a game I think the Patriots are able to run the ball a little bit more in.
02:34 I think it's gonna be a very competitive game.
02:35 I would be leaning a little bit more towards the Patriots if I had to pick
02:40 a side here.
