00:01 - Hugh Jackman's almost 30 year love story comes to an end.

00:14 revealing their decision to divorce on Friday.
00:17 Telling People Magazine,
00:18 "We have been blessed to share almost three decades together
00:21 "as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage.
00:24 "Our journey now is shifting
00:26 "and we have decided to separate
00:27 "to pursue our individual growth."
00:30 - The thing I always try to maintain with her,
00:32 which is what my dad did with me,
00:34 was it doesn't matter what you do, who you are,
00:38 love what you do,
00:39 and always be respectful of people around you.
00:42 - While they noted it's the sole statement
00:44 either of them will make, ET has reached out for comment.

00:53 And at this year's Met Gala, neither sported rings.

01:27 when I met my wife, and the moment I met her,
01:30 it was like, "This is 10 times better than this."

01:33 - And for the couple, calling it quits
01:35 wasn't a decision to be taken lightly,
01:38 as the romance predates Hugh's A-list stardom
01:40 and his breakthrough Marvel role.

01:59 in their native Australia, tying the knot a year later.

02:10 She was just cool, and from that moment,
