00:28 In Africa, buffaloes are thick-skinned.
00:31 They fight lions on a daily basis,
00:36 and because of that, they created some strategies
00:39 to keep themselves protected.
00:40 A leopard cannot bring down an adult buffalo,
00:45 and the cubs usually stay in the middle
00:47 of highly guarded herds, sheltered from predators.
00:50 Because of this, it is rare for the leopard
00:53 to be able to feed on the meat of an African buffalo.
00:57 But in Asia, the leopards there may have a better chance.
01:01 Asiatic buffaloes are not usually as dangerous as Africans,
01:07 so the leopard there is more likely to attack a calf.
01:10 Even though these are less aggressive,
01:13 they are nonetheless incapable of killing an adult.
