00:17 Thank you for all of your amazing feedback to our demo at the showcase earlier this year.
00:21 Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is filled with an amazing story and story missions.
00:25 But today I'm here to provide you with a first look at how the open world experience is evolving
00:29 and how the game is built to take full advantage of the PlayStation 5.
00:33 The first thing you'll notice is that our city is nearly doubled in size
00:36 with the addition of two iconic New York boroughs, Queens and Brooklyn.
00:40 And we've introduced the web wings, an entirely new mechanic that, when combined with web swinging,
00:44 allows you to traverse the city in a whole new way and at faster speeds than ever before.
00:49 Whether it's the neighborhood backdrop of Queens or the fireworks that light up the sky of Raccoonee Island,
00:53 exploring these areas will feel much different than the towering skyscrapers of Manhattan,
00:57 while also delivering memorable locales like Peter Parker's old stomping grounds in Midtown High
01:01 and Miles Morales' current place of learning, Broken Visions Academy.

01:06 Speaking of our heroes, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will introduce the ability to switch between the two wall crawlers in the open world.
01:12 And, thanks to the power of the PlayStation 5, you can make that switch almost instantly.
01:17 Delivering a bigger city and playing as not one, but two Spider-Heroes were big goals for Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
01:23 But this time around, it was equally important to provide a greater sense of exploration and discovery.
01:27 As you progress through the main story, a number of new activities and storylines will become available.
01:31 The majority of those will now be represented by visual cues in the world that grab your attention,
01:36 such as a flock of Kravens talon-drawn circling a building,
01:39 a mysterious symbol projected into the sky,
01:41 or even an unfamiliar spider-bot ping emitting from one of the rooftops.
01:44 Many activities, like the Hunter's cloaked blinds that overlook the Big Apple,
01:48 lead to even greater challenges yet yield worthy rewards and new information about Marvel's greatest Hunter, Kraven.
01:54 Others will lead to a climactic showdown of Marvel villains not yet seen in the Spider-Man universe.
01:59 The Spider-Heroes have new AR tech in the lenses of their masks,
02:03 providing a quick glimpse of activities already discovered, or helping locate new ones yet to be revealed.
02:08 You can always refer to the upgraded Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man app to quickly track nearby areas of interest.
02:14 The app will also include incoming requests from those who call Marvel's New York home.
02:18 Some will ask for either Spider-Hero to help, while others,
02:21 like the students of Brooklyn Vision's Calling Upon Miles, will require you to put on the mask of a specific hero.
02:27 All these activities, including crime to stop from the game's various enemy factions,
02:31 also now feed into the new District Progress system,
02:34 which even provides more rewards and unlocks our brand new fast travel system.
02:37 As you can see here, the PlayStation 5 and its SSD means you can move across a city with very little downtime.
02:43 Finally, the more city you explore and the more activities you complete,
02:47 the more ways you'll be able to customize your Spider-Hero.
02:49 This includes mastering additional combat abilities and traversal skills,
02:53 acquiring and improving gadgets, upgrading through the new Suit Tech System,
02:57 and of course, unlocking additional Spider-Suits.
03:00 And we're talking lots and lots of suits.
03:02 Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will feature over 65 suits from the comics, movies, and multiple original designs.
03:08 And thanks to the all-new Suit Style system,
03:10 you'll now have more than 200 different ways to outfit your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.
