  • last year
Hundreds of Libyans gather outside the grand mosque in the devastated city of Derna, protesting against the response by the authorities to the destruction that ensued after flash floods hit the city. On 10 September, two dams burst and unleashed a torrent that submerged parts of the city. More than 3,000 people were killed and thousands are missing.

00:39 Unfortunately, people are still
00:41 unable to hear their voices
00:43 except for the armed forces
00:45 that were present in the square.
00:47 Another important thing
00:49 that is very important
00:51 in this matter
00:53 is that people are being asked
00:55 without a single word
00:57 by the NUA,
00:59 who unfortunately
01:01 changed the person
01:03 who was accused of
01:05 harming the city
01:07 and replaced him with a member of the same group.

01:27 to change their minds
01:29 whether they are in the past
01:31 or in the future.
