This Drago tree is supposable over 800 years old and is about 20 meters high. And I have to admit, extremely impressive. But I sadly have to admit too, the Millennial Dragon Tree Park and parts of the town feel like a giant tourist trap!

Yes it's beautiful, the entire town but we never encountered so many "tourist attractions" during our For91days on Tenerife than in Icod de los Vinos! We thought the Millennial Dragon Tree Park entrance fee was pretty steep and doesn't have much to offer besides the tree. The cafe was kind of neat, no doubt about that and of course we did LOVE seeing the the Famous Dragon Tree up close!
