Edit (the fade out) for headphones, September 2023. Anotherl great song from the 1967 album "Headquarters" (2013 4 cd deluxe edition).(This song is not on any other album, it was never released officially.)
"Headquarters" was released on May 22, 1967, and charted at No. 1 in the US, only to be replaced the following week by the Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band"; it then began a run of 11 consecutive weeks at the No. 2 position as "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" and "Headquarters" became the two top-selling records during the legendary "Summer of Love" period.

I like this song for the great guitar work & guitar licks in it... all done by the Monkees themselves!
