00:02 - First and foremost, to hit it straight on,
00:12 we have adversity right now.
00:14 Slow start, O and T, not where you wanna be.
00:17 We've dealt with life issues, we've dealt with injuries,
00:22 and that's all real and that's a part of what we do
00:24 and what we gotta deal with.
00:26 The beautiful thing about our philosophy here,
00:29 our organization, is we're solution-oriented.
00:33 We work together to find these solutions
00:34 and solve our problems to get everything back on track.
00:38 I think what he was talking about is like,
00:39 it's a completely, it's not a completely,
00:41 it's majority of the team,
00:42 it's very different than what it was last year.
00:44 And mentally, we don't just drag every year
00:47 with us into the next year.
00:49 When you're not winning games,
00:50 like I can see the connect there.
00:53 In terms of Justin and his frustration,
00:54 I mean, the guy has been successful,
00:57 you know, the moment he stepped into high school football.
01:00 So he's dealing with adversity
01:02 and dealing with taking his game to the next level
01:04 through many different situations and change.
01:06 So I think that's kind of where you get the frustration.
01:09 I can't be more clear than this,
01:11 no one in our entire building,
01:13 none of our coaches see Justin as a finger pointer at all.
01:17 He's always taking ownership
01:18 of anything that's happened on the field.
01:20 He takes the head on, he works, he grinds,
01:22 he puts his head down.
01:24 He works with his teammates,
01:25 works with his coaches to find solution.
01:27 Really everyone's trying to figure out what's going on.
01:30 In my opinion, you got a young quarterback
01:32 trying to figure it out.
01:34 A guy who hasn't had the cleanest start of his career,
01:37 who last year, you know, with the roster
01:40 had to put the team on the back,
01:42 do some unbelievable things athletically.
01:44 Now he gets talent around him
01:46 and has to figure out and balance
01:48 when to do those cool things athletically,
01:51 when to lean on others.
01:53 And that is a sometimes a gray place to live in.
01:56 And that takes time, that takes time on task
01:59 for him to take that next step.
02:00 And everyone's on board helping him get into that place
02:03 for him to be successful.
02:05 We try to work in truth.
02:07 And I know there's a ton of misinformation
02:09 out there yesterday.
02:12 We talked about like house hall being raided.
02:14 That was completely false.
02:15 Don't even know where that came from.
02:17 Worked with Kevin and George, all of our leadership
02:21 to make sure we were handling it the right way,
02:24 communicating properly.
02:26 And then obviously everything concluded yesterday.
02:28 But we have a ton of confidence in our plan moving forward.
02:32 To make it really, really clear,
02:34 you know, I know the outside noise,
02:36 but no one in our building's panicking.
02:38 No one's flinching at any situations.
02:41 Not our owner, not our president,
02:43 not our head coach, not myself, none of our players.
02:46 Everyone's focusing on solving the issues that we have
02:48 so that we can be a better football team.
