00:01 and we are filming "Expendables 4."

00:06 - Oh, I'm sorry.

00:10 - Well, won't you be lonely without me?

00:16 There's lots of other boys on the mission.
00:18 My character Gina is an ex of Lee Christmas'
00:23 and she is also a trained, I guess,
00:29 you would call her mercenary or something
00:31 in the line of that.
00:33 She didn't feel like he respected her
00:37 and they ended up breaking up
00:38 and then she comes back into the fold
00:41 and plays a role in the Expendables as maybe team leader.
00:46 We'll see.
00:49 I think, hopefully, Gina brings some humor to the story
00:55 and she also brings, I think, a fresh element.
01:00 There's a freshness to her attitude
01:02 where she's not very self-serious
01:04 and she's kind of sarcastic
01:07 and she gives the boys a lot of (beep)
01:09 and that's the fun element that exists
01:13 between her and Jason's character and Stillen's character.
01:16 It's fun to see her give them a hard time
01:19 and point out where they've been failing all along
01:24 because I feel like they're usually pointing out
01:26 to the other characters where they're going wrong
01:28 and finally you have this one character
01:30 that's like, "Actually, it's you and here's why."
01:32 I mean, playing Gina's been fun.
01:34 We've had some really interesting scenes
01:36 between Jason and I, some character stuff
01:40 that I don't think you've seen from his character before
01:43 in any of the other movies
01:44 because it's sort of a flashback, it's a backstory
01:47 and you get to see him a little more,
01:49 I don't know if vulnerable's really the right word,
01:51 but you get to see him in a way
01:52 that you haven't really seen him before.
01:54 Gina brings something out in his character
01:57 that's new and fresh.
02:00 And as far as the stunt work and stuff,
02:03 we're actually getting ready to do that now.
02:05 That was for the scene between Jason and I
02:10 where we end up,
02:11 where we end up getting close,
02:17 but it starts out as sort of like a grappling match
02:19 and I did some of the stunt work in London
02:22 just for a day.
02:23 Some of it was kind of intricate, it was cool.
02:26 Gina's relationship with Christmas is complicated
02:31 because I think they both really love each other
02:34 and it was probably the first time
02:35 they've ever let their guard down
02:37 and been vulnerable with another person like that.
02:40 And he, I think, wants to connect
02:43 but also doesn't have the capacity.
02:45 Like, he just lacks the framework and understanding
02:49 of how to have a real relationship.
02:51 And so Gina sort of feels like,
02:54 oh, I let my guard down for you
02:59 and if you are not gonna take this seriously
03:00 or if you're not gonna put in the work for this,
03:03 then, you know, it's (beep) you, I'm a player.
03:06 And so then she goes off.
03:08 And so they have this competitive
03:10 sort of cat and mouse relationship
03:12 but underneath it is just two people
03:14 who are very prideful that are in love
03:17 and don't know how to express that in a healthy way.
03:19 - You really need to be more careful.
03:22 - Make me.
03:22 (dramatic music)
03:25 - Dude, I'll charge you a favor.
03:31 - First things first.
03:35 - I mean, working with Stallone and Jason,
03:43 they've all been great
03:45 and they all have very unique personalities.
03:47 Like Dolph is very polite and like a gentleman
03:52 and Stallone is very swaggy and like funny
03:56 and then Statham is very like focused
04:00 and like goal-oriented.
04:02 Oh, well, okay, Randy, I'm a big MMA fan.
04:06 So I'm a little starstruck
04:09 because I've watched MMA for so long
04:11 and he's a legend, like an absolute legend
04:13 and really well-respected and he was an amazing fighter.
04:17 He also served our country.
04:18 So he's just a really like special person
04:23 and I have a lot of respect for people
04:26 who do that for a living
04:27 and have put themselves through those kinds of things
04:29 and they all have really good chemistry together.
04:32 They're all really funny together.
04:34 Had a good time.
04:35 And then 50's like a big teddy bear.
04:38 You can see in his eyes and like in his smile,
04:41 he has such a sparkly smile.
04:43 He's like super tender and soft on the inside and gentle.
04:46 So he's like a big teddy bear.
04:48 Everybody's just been super nice and relaxed
04:53 and the set is very, it's like a really chill vibe
04:56 and everyone gets along.
04:58 It's long hours.
04:59 Everybody manages to stay in like good moods the whole time,
05:02 which is kind of a miracle with that many lead actors.
05:06 I was expecting like somebody to be a drama queen.
05:08 There's not one.
05:10 So it's been a good time.
