00:03 Giselle Bündchen is opening up about her divorce from Tom Brady.
00:06 The supermodel addressed their split on an interview with CBS Sunday Morning,
00:10 which is set to air on September 24th.
00:12 In a sneak peek at her sit-down, Giselle shared gratitude for how her life has turned out
00:16 thus far.
00:17 I wouldn't have it any other way.
00:18 I wouldn't have any other life.
00:19 I wouldn't have done it.
00:20 If they say, "Can you change something in your life?"
00:22 I wouldn't change absolutely anything.
00:24 Not even getting divorced.
00:25 She went on to acknowledge that ending a marriage wasn't how she envisioned things.
00:29 It's not what I dreamed of and what I hoped for.
00:32 I think I, you know, my parents have been married for 50 years and I really wanted that
00:38 to happen.
00:39 But I think you have to accept, you know, sometimes that the way you are in your 20s,
00:46 it's you know, sometimes you grow together, sometimes you grow apart.
00:50 The Brazilian star shared that despite having grown apart, she wants the best for her ex.
00:54 He's the father of my kids, you know, so I always wish him the best.
00:57 And I mean, I'm so grateful that he gave me wonderful children.
01:06 Giselle also shed light on her current chapter, telling CBS Sunday Morning,
01:09 "I'm in a different place in my life.
01:11 I'm able to choose more of what I want.
01:13 I think before I was more surviving, and now I'm living, which is different."
01:17 Her remarks come nearly 11 months after she and Tom announced that they'd finalized
01:20 their divorce.
01:21 The two were married for more than 13 years and welcomed two children together, son Benjamin
01:26 and daughter Vivian.
01:27 In his Instagram statement announcing their divorce, Tom wrote in part,
01:30 "We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center
01:34 of our world in every way.
01:35 We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and
01:39 attention they deserve."
01:41 In addition to putting the focus on co-parenting, Tom has embraced life post-football and gotten
01:45 into some acting.
01:46 "AXS Hollywood" spoke to the former athlete at the premiere of "80 for Brady" in February,
01:51 and he shared what it was like to be a part of the film.
01:53 Congratulations, "80 for Brady."
01:55 The ladies are speaking very highly of you.
01:57 Yes, Lily Tomlin, impressed with your acting.
02:00 "I got a lot of tips on set.
02:02 So they basically walked me through the whole thing.
02:05 And the best part about acting is they can say, 'Oh, cut.
02:08 Let's do it again.'
02:09 So."
02:10 Were you at all intimidated?
02:11 I mean, you're clearly not a man who's easily intimidated, but this was something a little
02:14 bit different.
02:15 "No, definitely.
02:16 I think it was definitely outside of my comfort zone.
02:18 And certainly when you're around some accomplished, the most amazing accomplished actors in the
02:23 world.
02:24 And I try not to screw it up.
02:26 So we definitely had a lot of takes, but it was a lot of fun.
02:29 And every time I messed up, they were giving me tips.
02:31 And yeah, it was just kind of a new arena.
02:34 So it was a lot of fun."
02:35 Jane Fonda told one of the Jimmys, "You make her weak in the knees."
02:38 Talk about your undeniable chemistry with these ladies.
02:40 They clearly had a lot of fun with you in the bits of time that you were on set.
02:44 What was it like working with them?
02:45 Because they're legends themselves.
02:46 "Yeah, we had fun.
02:47 You know, I had some of my teammates there, too.
02:49 I had Gronk in it and Julia and Danny.
02:51 I think all the guys were a little smitten by these ladies because they're very confident,
02:55 too.
02:56 So just being out there with them was, you know, for us a little intimidating.
02:59 And obviously once we warmed up, we all had a lot of fun."
