00:00 [Polish]
00:02 We are in Nowe Bogaczowice, the Old Bogaczowice municipality.
00:06 We are joined by Irena Uzyska, Secretary of State,
00:11 MP Marcin Gwóźdź, Deputy Mayor of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Grzegorz Macko.
00:17 This is a pavement built by the City of Wałbrzych together with the Old Bogaczowice municipality.
00:23 The City of Wałbrzych has been financing the construction of pedestrian paths in the traffic jams for years.
00:31 The Old Bogaczowice municipality is a leader in joint construction with the Lower Silesian Voivodeship.
00:37 Here, we would like to thank uncle Mirosław Lech.
00:41 But, ladies and gentlemen, we have asked the Minister, the MP and the Deputy Mayor,
00:46 because on behalf of the residents of the Wałbrzych Voivodeship,
00:51 I would like to appeal to you to consider changing the regulations in the next term of the Parliament.
01:00 We would like to change the regulations so that we can build pavements that are not two meters wide,
01:06 because we do not have a place to place them.
01:10 But, above all, ladies and gentlemen, on behalf of the residents, I would like to ask you for one thing.
01:17 We need the support of the Polish Council, which would be dedicated to pedestrian safety.
01:24 So that we, these small local governments, which do not have large budgets,
01:28 could implement safe pedestrian paths in these small towns,
01:34 so that this participant in the traffic, ladies and gentlemen, is protected.
01:37 We are on a road that has been a road for three years, serving the construction of the S3, ladies and gentlemen.
01:45 It really carried thousands, if not millions of tons and withstood.
01:51 But safety, as we see, these trucks are very important.
01:55 Children, older people who do not have a pedestrian can not feel safe users of traffic.
02:02 Hence my appeal, my submission.
02:04 If we change Poland, let's change these small homelands.
02:08 And my appeal to the consideration of financial resources for the support of the construction of dedicated pedestrian paths.
02:14 At the level of the local government, there is also a program that we have the pleasure of running annually.
02:20 The program of the Silesian Regional Development Fund, from which we fund the municipalities,
02:24 to build pedestrian paths and lighting lamps along the municipal roads.
02:30 We are adding our little brick.
02:32 I think that year after year we will improve this security,
02:35 building more pedestrian paths where they are most needed by the local community.
