00:00 Alright mate, so um, yeah, sounds like a busy few months for you.
00:03 It really has.
00:04 Yeah, um, you've been happy with how you've been going obviously?
00:07 Oh, the results have been hot and cold.
00:09 Fell just short of nationals, which sucks.
00:13 That was the Olympic qualifiers.
00:14 Is what it is, other than that, pretty ecstatic.
00:18 Yeah, youngest to medal.
00:19 It's been a busy few months, but very busy, yeah.
00:23 So what's on the horizon for you?
00:25 In two and a half weeks I'll be in Papua New Guinea.
00:28 I'll be representing New South Wales against a Commonwealth Games athlete from their country.
00:32 And then the month after I'll be in America, representing Australia.
00:36 That's in the jeans, I forget the tournament name,
00:41 but that's November 9th to 12th, so I'm pretty keen for that.
00:44 Have you thought about your future much, or is it sort of, you know,
00:48 seeing where things go at the moment?
00:49 At the moment, I was sort of hoping to get to this Olympics and
00:54 just get the fights right up before going pro.
00:56 But it's looking like another Olympic cycle now, wait another four or five years.
01:00 Really rack up those fights.
01:02 I want a good 100, 150 fights before I go pro.
01:05 So yeah, looking forward for it.
01:07 Tyson said you've been putting your hand up a lot, taking a lot of fights.
01:11 Were you just super keen just to get the experience?
01:14 That and it's just, it's a lot I really do, man.
01:17 Not much else to it.
01:19 Look at that experience.
01:22 I'm only, it's my first year in the men's.
01:25 I stepped up a bit early last year and went to the men's nationals last year as a youth.
01:29 And since then it's just been about keeping busy.
01:31 Obviously this year, not the best year, it's not silver.
01:35 But look to better on those results coming years.
