00:02 Another game here in the Pac-12, Mark.
00:05 USC and Arizona State, this was late night in the desert in Tempe.
00:10 42 to 28, USC puts up 42 points but
00:14 doesn't come anywhere near covering.
00:16 Total goes over.
00:18 Arizona State was able to put some scores in and
00:22 stay within the number if you bet the Sun Devils.
00:24 You take anything away from Tempe last night?
00:27 >> Yeah, USC's defense is still a problem because Arizona State does not have
00:32 an offense that would be considered a power five offense, period.
00:35 And the fact that they were able to put up 28 on this defense
00:38 is a little bit alarming to me, it just is.
00:42 USC has got to figure out a way to get stops,
00:46 because you're gonna start to play better teams along the way.
00:49 And guess what?
00:50 You're not gonna be able to separate from them that easily when you can't
00:55 stop anybody.
00:55 So that's the biggest concern I have for the Trojans is their defense.
00:59 And if they can get it right,
01:01 then they have a very good chance at winning the Pac-12.
01:06 But right now, I mean, USC doesn't have to play Washington this year, right?
01:11 So I think they avoid them this year, if I recall correctly.
01:15 I know they avoid Oregon or Utah, is it one or the other?
01:20 Maybe it's Utah that they avoid.
01:22 But regardless, they're not gonna be able to stop some of these Pac-12 offenses.
01:28 I mean, imagine if they, I don't think they play Washington State either, but
01:32 a pass offense like that, it's just like one of those things where,
01:35 if you can't stop anybody, you're always gonna be in a closer game than expected.
01:41 >> Yeah, you're right, they don't play Washington State.
01:45 They do play Washington and Oregon in consecutive weeks towards the end
01:49 of the season.
01:50 They got Notre Dame, and they do have Utah.
01:52 They do get them at home, the Utes.
01:54 This is a tough schedule for USC.
01:56 I wouldn't be surprised if they drop one, if not two or more.
02:00 >> No, because their defense is a little bit of a liability.
02:02 I mean, their offense is great, and
02:03 Caleb Williams is gonna be the number one overall pick, and that's fine.
02:06 And Lincoln Riley certainly knows how to run an offense.
02:07 However, you have to be able to stop people, and they can't.
02:16 >> Actually, they're at Colorado in Boulder next week, this upcoming week.
02:22 10 AM local time kick, why are they doing that?
02:26 >> Terrible decision.
02:28 >> Yeah, I feel bad for the Colorado fans.
02:33 It'd be such a better atmosphere, at least like 3.30.
