00:00 Hi, my name is Julie Kennaughton. I'm actually one of the founders of JPC Community Platform
00:14 based in the North East. Today's event is about coming together with the Bridlington
00:19 Lions and the RNLI and also raising awareness. Charities themselves are very important so
00:25 it's about also collaborating together and working together and that's exactly what we've
00:29 done today, bringing people together to see what can be done. It's called Supercar Saturday
00:35 because a lot of the cars that have come here today are from all over the place and we've
00:39 been really grateful and thankful to all the people that have actually taken the place
00:42 to show what they've got on offer. To make this a special day we've decided to bring
00:47 lots of cars together as you can see in the background and obviously what you've seen
00:50 today. James Kennaughton, my son, is now 23, he has Peeris Syndrome. James' condition is
00:56 obviously very rare so today he had the pleasure of cutting the ribbon to start the event off.
01:02 We have over 50 cars that have taken part today, unfortunately a handful weren't able
01:06 to make it due to the weather but I think it's been a great successful morning. This
01:10 is our first event that we've actually done at Bridlington and we're very pleased.
