00:00 In Milicza we celebrate the day without a car, which normally happens on September 22, but because it would be difficult to organize a big rally on Friday, we celebrate on Sunday.
00:12 How many participants?
00:14 200 people declared their participation. We organized a rally on four routes at different distances, different scales of difficulty, and at the end we meet at a joint picnic.
00:26 And who is the organizer?
00:28 The organizer of the event is the Association of Low-Ride Country, organized by the Milicza municipality, which is a creative multifunctional facility in the area where we are.
00:39 Our partner is the Polish Horseriding Association "Hufiec Milicki".
00:44 Something more about the routes that are prepared?
00:47 We have prepared three routes for the participants. One 25-kilometer family route, through the most beautiful areas, on a bicycle path from Milicza through the Rudymilicka Grave, the observation tower and the Dymina.
01:01 The second route was prepared for people who like to ride more, it is 50 kilometers from Milicza through the town of Nowy Zamek to Trzebicka, with a beautiful wooden church on the hill.
01:17 And then back to Milicza.
01:19 And a route for people who like a long distance and difficult conditions, i.e. such a route MTB 65 kilometers.
01:26 The group left at 9 am, from Milicza goes to the neighboring towns, to Wielkopolska, to the town of Moja Wola and there at the Myśliwski Palace, turns and returns by an off-road route through the forests to Milicza.
01:45 Milicza attracts a lot of people from outside, so we can say that we have some local participants and a lot of people from the passers-by.
01:54 The most people are from Wrocław and the area, but we also have guests from Oleśnica, from Miejska Górka, from Wielkopolska, from Krotoszyn, from Bojanów, from Rawic, they always come to us.
02:06 The weather, as you can see, is getting worse, so it would be a sin not to use this smile of heaven.
02:12 Every event in the plenary, and especially every bicycle event, takes place with the participation of the Milicza commune.
02:21 We are advocates of bicycle tourism. The bike is our recognition sign, so we are also here today.
02:31 A great initiative of the Lower Silesian Bicycle Country, the Milicza commune, three different routes,
02:41 differentiated from the shortest 25-kilometer one to the 65-kilometer one.
02:48 There is an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful weather, there is an opportunity to see what has happened on the paths,
02:56 they are being renovated, there are several new bicycle paths being built, and there is an opportunity to invite tourists from outside Milicza.
03:07 There are a lot of them.
03:08 A day without a car, but they came here from Wrocław by car, by bike, a large group also arrived by train today, thanks to the fact that there is a bicycle car.
03:21 And today there are a lot of these bikes, I saw them, I rode here by bike, there is a crowd, there are a lot of people, and all the happiness.
03:32 Let them come, let them see that the bicycle capital of Lower Silesia is Milicza.
