00:06 thank goodness that's over. Ended on a little bit of a high with a 46-0 home win over Castleford

00:13 Tigers which followed 61-0 and 50-0 defeat which is quite some end to the season. It

00:20 has to be said Castleford were very poor against Leeds on Friday night, never got into gear

00:26 at all, they looked like they couldn't wait for the season to be over either but you beat

00:30 what's in front of you and that leads to a decent job and there were actually some very

00:34 positive signs from it. David Fussey too is hat-trick obviously if he can stay fit next

00:41 season and get on to the end of some kicks from Matt Frawley I think he could go very

00:45 well and get a lot of tries for Leeds in 2024. Probably the most pleasing aspect was Young

00:51 Jackson Field's performance, he made an error right at the start when he kicked out on the

00:55 full but he was allowed a little bit of time on the ball which he's probably not had against

01:00 better opposition and he made the most of it. You could see him growing in confidence,

01:04 he scored his first Super League try, that named Sinfield back on Leeds' Trinos score

01:09 sheet for the first time since 2015 and he showed some really positive signs. I think

01:15 with another pre-season under his belt the experience he's gained this year will be very

01:19 valuable. Whether he's ready to play every week in 2024 I'm not too sure but he's certainly

01:25 one for the future and it was good to see him. Alfie Edgell get a run and Tom Nicholson-Watton

01:31 who came on very strong first hit up and didn't look out of place at all so they're positive

01:36 signs. I think the most incredible thing was the 15,000 crowd for the teams considering

01:43 their relatively poor seasons or very poor seasons I think that was an incredible attendance

01:49 and it just showed what Leeds have got here. Just need to add a successful team to an otherwise

01:55 pretty successful club and the women this weekend have reached their grand final again,

02:01 fifth successive grand final winning away at St Helens. Things are going well in most

02:05 regards just need to sort the first team out. It'll be very interesting to see what happens

02:09 over the next few weeks and months and what the squad looks like at the start of next

02:14 season. I suspect it'll be very different to the one that finished this year. Leeds

02:20 need to be a lot better next year. Eight isn't good enough for a club of this size. Everyone

02:26 at the club is aware of that. Work is going on behind the scenes and we'll see what that

02:30 brings.
