00:00 - I feel like you kind of, there's like, you know,
00:01 there's all sorts of tension, you know,
00:03 long-term, 0-3 short-term, I mean, your future.
00:07 I mean, what was, you know, you balance it.
00:11 - Yeah, it's all the stuff that you weigh
00:13 when you're making that decision.
00:14 Do you, you know, there is risk to go out there
00:18 and potentially reinjure it,
00:20 but there's also a risk to go out there and be 0-3.
00:22 So I wanted to be out there for my guys,
00:25 and, you know, I was confident that I would be able
00:27 to do what I needed to, to get the win.
00:29 - How much, how much lobbying did you do
00:32 to the decision makers throughout the course of the week,
00:34 given the confidence that you felt through that play?
00:37 - Yeah, once Friday, Saturday hit,
00:39 I was pretty confident that I'd be able to do it.
00:41 So I voiced that.
00:42 - On the throw to Jermar, that had some reference,
00:44 did your headset go off before that?
00:46 I know you were having trouble hearing.
00:48 - There were a couple of times, not fully, no.
00:51 There were a couple of times throughout the game
00:53 that there were some headset issues,
00:54 but I don't think that was one of them.
00:57 - Joe, how challenging has it been
00:58 trying to get explosive plays down the field?
01:01 You guys haven't hit much,
01:02 it's been such a big part of your offense in recent years.
01:05 And is that kind of a source of frustration
01:07 for you right now,
01:07 that you guys haven't been able to get those?
01:09 - Yeah, I mean, those are, obviously make it a lot easier,
01:13 but we've played three really good defenses
01:16 that know that that's what we're good at,
01:19 and are good at taking that away.
01:21 And then, you know, when you're able to extend plays,
01:26 kind of explosive plays are created in that way.
01:30 And so I think, you know, going forward,
01:32 the healthier I get, the more we'll be able to do that.
01:33 - How much has your defense's performance helped you
01:35 that you weren't thinking of some kind of crazy shootout
01:37 that you could kind of manage the game a little bit
01:39 because of what they were doing?
01:40 - Yeah, that was critical, that was critical.
01:43 You know, once we got that lead in the second half,
01:45 the defense started to really tee off.
01:48 And as a quarterback,
01:49 that just kind of changes your mindset of the game.
01:51 You know, you don't have to take as many chances.
01:53 You're not going to try to fit as many into tight windows.
01:56 And when you have a defense like that,
