00:00 We've got some juicy insights on how Connor and Sharon keep their on-screen chemistry on point
00:04 that fans just can't get enough of. If you want to know their secret, stick around till the end.
00:10 Hey everyone, welcome to Trend Street.
00:13 When Connor Floyd joined The Young and the Restless in 2021 as a recast of Chance
00:19 Chancellor, he was naturally paired up with his on-screen wifey, Abby Newman. We couldn't see
00:24 how Connor and Melissa built their on-screen romance, but instead, their TV marriage went
00:29 south real quick thanks to Abby's little affair with Devin, the bio-dad of her and Chance's son,
00:34 Dominic. Chance stayed away from things like love and affairs for a while after getting cheated on
00:39 by his wife. Eventually, though, he started catching feelings for Sharon, portrayed by Sharon
00:44 Case, and the rest is history. In The Young and the Restless, Sharon and Chance have been on their
00:50 A-game ever since they started dating. The sparks had been there for quite some time, and ever since
00:55 the Crimson Lights scene, their chemistry is literally off the charts. When fans heard about
01:00 the romance between Chance and Sharon for the first time, many were worried because of their
01:05 age difference. Clearly, Case is so much older than Connor Floyd in real life, more than 20 years,
01:10 but it was just magic seeing how they managed to keep the chemistry going on this long.
01:15 Although many people are still torn between Sharon and Summer for Chance, Sharon always comes out on
01:20 top, while Sharon is taking it slow with her relationship with Chance on the show. Their
01:25 chemistry says otherwise. Fans have been noticing the crazy bond between them, and the sparks are
01:30 just everywhere. Many skeptical fans wanted to know if their bond was more than just on screen,
01:35 and it actually turns out that their on-screen chemistry is the fruit of the real-life
01:39 connection between the actors themselves. In an interview with Soap Opera Digest,
01:44 Floyd opened up about how things go between him and his co-star Case at work.
01:48 "The more scenes we do, the better we're getting to know each other. I mean,
01:52 she's an Emmy-winning actress, which is ideal for me, to work with someone who I not only look up
01:57 to but also inspires me," Floyd stated. And you know what Floyd really enjoys the most about
02:02 working with Case? It's the fact that she's totally down to put in some solid script prep time
02:07 before they hit the set. He actually cares about the opportunity to sync up with his co-star since
02:12 rehearsal time is limited, Floyd went on to say. "So it's nice to get as much time as you can with
02:18 the other actor or actress to make sure you're both on the same page." He also showed his
02:22 appreciation of how collaborative Case is, saying, "Because one of my favorite parts about acting is
02:28 breaking it down with your partner and really trying to find the beats of the scenes." That's
02:32 not all. He is also feeling blessed to have Sharon by his side because she's basically making him
02:37 level up as an actor. Isn't he the sweetest? Both Connor and Sharon seem ecstatic about their TV
02:43 romance right now, but how long can their chemistry last when Summer and Nick are there, diverting
02:48 their hearts from each other? Tag along to see what happens and don't forget to let us know
