Updates on Khalistani-terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, who has been continuously sending threats and warning messages for Canadian Hindus. Pannun has now made plans to separate Kashmir from India and create a ‘Democratic Republic Of Urduistan’.
According to reports, Pannun aims to divide India along the religious lines. He is trying to influence the Muslim population to establish a separate nation. According to TOI report, NIA says Pannun is actively working to radicalise people of Kashmir in order to facilitate Kashmir’s separation from India.
And now another big revelation comes in. TOI reports that the Khalistani elements and their leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar have been establishing a pro-Khalistan brigade by sponsoring visas for young Punjab youth. These young people are brought from Punjab under the guise of medium skilled jobs or religious duties in Gurudwara. These Gurdwaras are mostly controlled by pro-khalistanis.
As per report, many of these unemployed youth are brought into work as plumbers, truck drivers, or do religious duties in Gurudwaras. These youths are used in organizing separatist movements and anti-India protests.
Further, the TOI reports that Punjab-based political party Shiromani Akali Dal is said to be charging ₹1-2 lakh to issue a ""letter"" to the state's youths for seeking political asylum in Canada, by falsely claiming that they are party cadres, and are being persecuted in India on religious grounds.
According to the same report, the Intelligence sources accused Canadian agencies of soft-pedalling Khalistani elements, resulting in the rise in their clout in gurudwaras across the country. This clout has become so strong, that it is now intimidating Hindus of the local Indian diaspora in Canada and threatening defacement of their temples.
The reports says that according to an officer, pro-Khalistan elements have used the garb of 'freedom of expression' and 'political advocacy' to carry out separatist and terrorist activities on Canadian soil for 50 years. In several NIA investigations, it's been revealed that Canada-based gangsters have a role in bringing drugs to Punjab from Pakistan, and using the proceeds to fund Khalistan activities.
