00:00 - McMillan and Rome get a lot of attention
00:03 and Jalen Polk, I don't know if you want to call it
00:05 flying under the radar, but he's having a hell of a year.
00:09 He looks like a different guy
00:10 where he's really elevated his game.
00:11 Number one, what do you attribute that jump to?
00:14 And when the NFL scouts come through,
00:16 I know they talk about, you know, your other two guys,
00:18 but are they paying attention to Jalen?
00:21 - Well, I think, first of all, I think, you know,
00:24 JP's progression as a player
00:27 is what every coach wants out of all their guys.
00:30 You see the progression of the offensive piece,
00:34 the understanding conceptually of what you're doing,
00:37 and then just a commitment to transform his body
00:40 and improve it continually.
00:41 I think he's one of the hardest workers we have,
00:44 both in and out of season,
00:46 and I think it's really showing.
00:48 I thought he had a phenomenal year last year,
00:51 and so to see him come out and kind of match suit, really,
00:54 with what Rome and J-Mac have done in the off season
00:57 and built their game up,
00:58 and I think JP is just showing that, you know,
01:01 he's put in just as much, if not more work,
01:04 than everybody else,
01:05 and I think that, you know, certainly his game
01:08 is gaining the attention of NFL scouts and things like that,
01:11 but I think, you know, really for JP, you know,
01:15 it's more about him continuing to develop
01:16 as a complete receiver,
01:17 and I think that he'll only get better.
01:19 I think his best football is ahead of him.
