The Fuente de la Piedra Escrita in Córdoba, Spain is a Baroque fountain with two lion's heads spouting water. It is named after a Roman inscription that was found on the site during its construction in 1721. The fountain is located in the San Lorenzo neighborhood, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Córdoba.

The two lion's heads are said to represent the two rivers that flow through Córdoba, the Guadalquivir and the Guadiato. They are also a reminder of the city's rich history and culture.

According to legend, the lioness once saved a child who had fallen into the lion's mouth. As a reward, she asked the children to be kind to each other and to all living things. From that day on, the lion and the lioness spouted water from their mouths to remind people to be kind.

The Fuente de la Piedra Escrita is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike to come and cool off on a hot day. It is also a popular gathering place for friends and families, and is often used as a backdrop for photographs.
