National Geographic - SuperCroc (2001)

  • last year
In the parched sands of the Sahara, National Geographic Explorer-in-Residence Dr. Paul Sereno uncovers the fossilized bones of a giant croc, possibly the largest of its kind ever to have lived. But, before this renowned paleontologist turns his fossil find into a life-size re-creation, he needs to get acquainted first-hand with the largest of its living relatives. Dr. Sereno joins forces with National Geographic's reptile expert, Dr. Brady Barr, to track down the largest of today's crocs in their wild habitat to provide insight on this prehistoric croc relative. The adventure-packed quest to flesh out this ancient 40-foot croc is the subject of SuperCroc, a global television event airing on the National Geographic Channel.
