Previously, in a fluid that satisfies the continuity property, the number of particles entering the inlet, is equal to the number of particles leaving the outlet. Each of these particles is identical, meaning that these particles have the same size and mass. In other words, the mass entering the inlet is equal to the mass leaving the outlet every second. From here, we can derive the equation of continuity.
