00:02 - We all share this amazing piece of machinery.
00:07 We all have a common language.
00:09 Doesn't matter what language we speak,
00:11 but we all speak bike.
00:13 - If it wasn't for that bike,
00:17 even after leaving rehab, I probably would have gone back.
00:20 - Because it's very difficult in this country
00:26 to change the perception about women on bicycles.
00:28 (upbeat music)
00:31 - I had to go to school with one exercise book,
00:34 mostly barefooted, like trekking eight miles every day
00:38 to and from school.
00:39 - We are up against a giant, giant Goliath
00:45 in terms of the perception of cycling,
00:48 and yet the gains and the wins,
00:51 if cycling can be embraced, are huge.
00:54 - The bicycle has been ridden
00:57 in every corner of the globe.
00:59 Shaping our streets, our communities, even ourselves.
01:08 It has been called our noblest invention,
01:12 and yet it remains overlooked as a real solution
01:16 to many of the global challenges we're facing today.
01:20 There are over two billion of them on the planet.
01:26 Each one of them has a story to tell.
01:28 - Nothing else really matters
01:34 other than me and that ribbon of dirt.
01:36 - I let that speed act, drilling is your heart.
01:40 I don't care what bike I'm on,
01:43 as long as I'm on a bike, that's bike life.
01:45 - I'm always gonna go on.
01:49 I'm always gonna keep doing this.
01:51 I'm always gonna change.
01:52 I'm always gonna fight.

01:55 - When we get on a bicycle,
