00:03 agencies, photographer Brian Randall lost his battle with amyotrophic
00:08 lateral sclerosis, ALS, earlier this week, his family confirmed.
00:13 It is with great sadness that we share that on August 5th,
00:17 Brian Randall passed away peacefully after a three year battle with ALS,
00:21 his family said in a statement to a foreign publication.
00:24 Brian chose early to keep his journey with ALS private, and
00:28 those of us who cared for him did our best to honor his request.
00:32 We are immensely grateful to the tireless doctors who navigated the landscape of
00:36 this illness with us, and to the astounding nurses who became our roommates,
00:41 often sacrificing their own families to be with ours, the family added,
00:46 asking for privacy in the time of grief to say goodbye to the celebrity.
00:51 Although Bullock and Randall chose to keep their romance private since mid 2015,
00:56 the former admitted finding the love of her life in him.
01:00 We share two beautiful children, three children, Randall's older daughter.
