00:00 >> Just approaching every week like I'm gonna play,
00:04 just always having that mentality, being ready when my numbers call.
00:09 This is how I've been approaching it since I've been in the league,
00:12 I'm gonna keep approaching it like that.
00:14 >> Obviously James was out the last couple days of practice.
00:17 Just what was this week like for you in terms of the workload out here?
00:21 >> I mean, I got a lot of reps this week.
00:24 I'm just trying to take the most of my opportunities.
00:28 >> Do you feel like there's cohesion up there no matter who's playing right now?
00:31 >> Yeah, the whole line room is tight.
00:33 I'm so confident, I'm playing next to anybody out there.
00:38 So anyone's confident playing next to any of the guys that we have in the line room.
00:42 >> Offensively, I mean obviously it's the offensive against the criticism,
00:46 but you guys are coming out, maybe your best game.
00:48 Do you think that is a step in the right direction?
00:50 Do you feel like you guys kind of are turning the corner and
00:53 finding what you need to?
00:54 >> I try not to live in that area of thinking.
00:57 I just, I'm a big one play at a time, one day at a time, we'll see what happens.
01:03 >> How's the transition been?
01:05 What's the communication like with you guys?
01:07 What's the time that you've had?
01:10 >> What do you mean communication?
01:11 >> Communication with the other offensive linemen.
01:13 How do you guys feel, comfort level next week?
01:17 >> I mean, I've been with Isaac for three years in Philly.
01:20 That's my dog, one of my really good friends.
01:25 Probably one of my really good friends through all life, but so that's nothing new.
01:29 I'm stoked to be playing with him again, on the same team.
01:32 But everyone in the whole line room, I love everybody.
01:36 A bunch of great guys, they all come to work, put their hard hats on.
01:39 I couldn't ask for better teammates.
01:40 >> How did you and Isaac become friends?
01:42 What is it about him that you guys kind of clicked?
01:45 >> He just kind of took me under his wing when I got to the Eagles.
01:48 And after practice, he'd help me work on my game and work on my craft.
01:52 And it's something I'm forever indebted for him.
01:54 I don't know if I'd be here without him.
01:55 So I got nothing but high praise for him.
01:57 I'm thankful for him and I'm thankful for the friendship that we've made.
02:01 >> You guys play with a similar intensity.
02:03 >> Yeah, I mean, I hope I can, he's a good player, man.
02:06 I hope I can match his intensity.
02:08 >> When you signed here, were you aware that you were joining a group of some
02:11 pretty durable guys up front that they didn't miss a start all last season as
02:15 a no-liner?
02:15 Or do you always kind of bank on the fact that at this position,
02:18 guys are gonna go down and depth's gonna be needed?
02:20 >> I mean, I don't bank on anything.
02:24 I just, I like the black and gold.
02:29 I like, I've listened to Coach Tomlin speak before.
02:34 I was just a huge fan.
02:35 I just thought it'd be super cool to play for a legendary coach like that,
02:38 one of the greatest coaches I think all time.
02:40 And I just try to come to work and work every day.
02:44 >> Obviously, you can play many different positions up front.
02:47 Do you feel more or less comfortable in one position?
02:49 Or do you feel like this is a good spot for you?
02:51 Does it not matter where you wanna play?
02:53 >> I don't care where I play.
02:56 I just wanna play.
